When new Mainstream Pokemon Games are introduced, they usually see some Legacy Pokemon learn New Attacks or receive Updated Abilities and stats. Never before have Legacy Pokemon received additional Egg Groups; that is, until now with Pokemon Sword & Shield. Twelve different Legacy Pokemon that previously only fell within one Egg Group have received an additional Egg Group Status. That means these Pokemon can breed with even more Pokemon, and that new Egg Moves Combinations can be created!
Pokemon That Received Additional Egg Groups
Ralts/Kirlia/Gardevoir/Gallade: Amorphous -> Amorphous & Human Like Egg Groups
Trapinch/Vibrava/Flygon: Bug -> Bug & Dragon Egg Groups
Hawlucha: Human Like -> Human-Like & Flying Egg Groups
Bergmite/Avalugg: Monster -> Monster & Mineral Egg Groups
Noibat/Noivern: Flying -> Flying & Dragon Egg Groups
