Max Moves are Pokemon Attacks that a Pokemon can only used when a it has been Dynamaxed within a battle that allows it. When a Pokemon is Dynamaxed, all of its Attacks will be replaced with Max Moves that are specific to each Pokemon Attack Type and will vary in strength depending on how powerful the regular Pokemon Attack it is being used for is (much like that of Z-Crystals). All Max Moves also have a Secondary Effect. In total, there are 18 Different Max Moves a Pokemon can use (not counting Max Guard that replaces all Status Moves and protects a Pokemon for one turn).
