How To Get Rapid Strike Urshifu?

It may come as a bit of shock, but there are only three brand New Legendary Pokemon that come with the Isle of Armor Expansion Pass. One of those Pokemon is Zarude, the very first Mythical Pokemon announced for the 8th Generation of Pokemon. However, since Zarude is a Mythical Pokemon and those can only be obtained by a Wi-Fi Event, that means that a player can only obtain two Legendary Pokemon during the gameplay of the Isle of Armor.

These two other Legendary Pokemon are Kubfu and Urshifu. If the names don't seem similar enough, it turns out that these two Pokemon make up only the second Legendary Pokemon Evolution Chain (the other being the Solgaleo/Lunala Evolution Chain of the Alola Region). That's right! Kubfu actually evolves into Urshifu, meaning players will ultimately only have one New Legendary Pokemon by the time they finish the Isle of Armor Story!

Players will obtain Kubfu as a Gift Pokemon after defeating all of Dojo Master Mustard's Trials. After they do, they will be tasked with growing in both friendship and strength with Kubfu. After visiting all the necessary locations on their Town Map with Kubfu, Mustard will allow a player to take on one of the two Tower of Fists with Kubfu in order for it to evolve. Should Kubfu, at this point, be at Level 30 (if you haven't completed the Pokemon Sword & Shield Story) or Level 70 (if you've already completed the Pokemon Sword & Shield Story), players can take on either the Tower of Darkness or Tower of Waters.

In order to have your Kubfu evolve into Rapid Strike Urshifu, players will need to take on and defeat the Tower of Waters with their Kubfu. By defeating all the trainers within the Tower of Waters, including Mustard and his Kubfu, players can have their Kubfu read the scroll at the top of tower in order to evolve into Urshifu within its Rapid Strike Form. This form sees Urshifu being a Fighting/Water Type Pokemon, as well as learning its exclusive move of Surging Strikes.
