The main goal of the
Isle of Armor is to eventually own a
Urshifu with the ability to
Gigantamax. In order to get there, however, you will need to proceed through the entire Isle of Armor Story. Luckily, it's not all that hard to do, since all you must do is defeat
Dojo Master
Mustard's three
Trials in order to obtain
Kubfu. This little bear is the Pre-Evolution of Urshifu, but it's a long way off from evolving. To begin your adventure with Kubfu, Mustard will suggest traveling to certain locations he's marked on your Town Map while
Training With Kubfu. To be completely honest, you don't have to do any training at all whatsoever at this point with Kubfu. All you must do is visit the locations and then return to Mustard in order to gain access to the Tower of Two Fists.
If you head to either the
Tower of Darkness or
Tower of Waters after this, however, you will come to find you won't be able to ascend either tower with
Kubfu until it is at or above Level 30 (if you haven't completed the
Pokemon Sword & Shield Story) or Level 70 (if you've already completed the Pokemon Sword & Shield Story). This is a pretty daunting task to complete for any Pokemon, especially when the
Isle of Armor contains no Pokemon Battles whatsoever outside of those with key characters and within the two towers themselves. This can make training Kubfu extremely difficult if you don't leave the Isle of Armor to train it. However, there is a simple way to train Kubfu, like all Pokemon in Pokemon Sword & Shield. And this method lies in using
EXP Candy to easily enhance Kubfu's Level. With the help
EXP Candy, you can increase Kubfu's Level in no time at all, especially if you have EXP Candy XL. Once Kubfu is at the necessary Pokemon Level, all it takes to evolve Kubfu is to climb one of the towers!
