Thank you for printing this page from to come back to check for updates to this guide and much more content for Pokemon Sword and Shield

Unlike other areas in The Galar Region, the Wild Area and all the little areas within it will have rotating Weather. This includes Normal Weather, Overcast, Raining, Thunderstorm, Snowing, Snowstorm, Intense Sun, Sandstorm, and Fog. Each given weather will cause certain effects when in a battle against a Wild Pokemon in the Wild Area: Normal Weather (No Effects), Overcast (No Effects), Raining (Rain Dance In Effect), Thunderstorm (Rain Dance & Electric Terrain In Effect), Snowing (Hail In Effect), Snowstorm (Hail In Effect), Intense Sun (Sunny Day In Effect), Sandstorm (Sandstorm In Effect), and Fog (Misty Terrain In Effect). Additionally, certain Wild Pokemon will only appear in the Wild Area when specific weather is in effect.
