Also coming with the
Isle of Armor are seven brand new
Gigantamax Forms! Two of which belong to Vensaur and Blastoise, joining Gigantamax
Charizard to complete the Gigantamax Kanto Starters. Outside of their new appearances, Venusaur and Blastoise will remain basically the same when in their
Gigantamax Forms (except being especially stronger). Gigantamax Vensaur will know the G-Max Move of G-Max Vine Lash which causes damage and continues to cause damage to all Non-Grass Types for four turns. Similarly,
Gigantamax Blastoise will have the G-Max Move of G-Max Cannonade, which causes damage and continues to cause damage to all Non-Water Types for four turns
The new three new
Gigantamax Forms belong to
Rillaboom,
Cinderace and
Inteleon, meaning each of the Galar Starters will have one!
Gigantamax Rillaboom will know the G-Max Move of G-Max Drum Solo which ignores the opponent's
Abilities. Similarly,
Gigantamax Cinderace will know the G-Max Move of G-Max Fireball and
Gigantamax Inteleon will know the G-Max Move of G-Max Hydrosnipe; both of these
G-Max Moves also ignore the opponent's abilities. And finally, both forms of the Legendary Pokemon
Urshifu have special
Gigantamax Forms as well, with its Single Strike Form having the G-Max Move of G-Max One Blow and its Rapid Strike Form having the G-Max Move of G-Max Rapid Flow (both doing maximum damage even if an opposing Pokemon uses a move like Protect or Detect).
