After defeating Hop, Leon will be impressed enough to give you each his Letter of Endorsement. After he does, Hop will spot what looks like a shooting star. It will actually land in the area near Magnolia's House, and you and Hop will discover they are actually Wishing Stars (which have the power to help trainers Dynamax their Pokemon). Magnolia will ask that you hand them over to her for the time being, and the next day she will gift both you and Hop with Dynamax Bands that she made out of the Wishing Stars. With them, you can officially Dynamax Pokemon in battles that allow it.

From there, you and Hop will head back to the Train Station in Wedgehurst to get your Gym Challenge underway. Once you arrive at the Station, both of your mothers will appear and give each of your Camp Gear that you can use during your journey if you so well please. After they do, they will say their goodbyes and you and Hop will get on the next train leaving the station. After a quick ride, the train will suddenly stop in the Meetup Spot of the Wild Area due to Pokemon crossing the train tracks.

Hop will share with you a bit of info with you about the Wild Area, how it's actually a number of areas that connect to one another. Wild Pokemon, including ones referred to as Strong Pokemon that will be too tough for you to battle at this time, are found throughout the Wild Area. Max Raid Battles are also found throughout the vast Wild Area. Once he shares all of this with you, he will mention that the next place you'll meet is in Motostoke where you will sign up for the Gym Challenge. Sonia will arrive right before you enter the Wild Area to give you the Pokemon Box Link, which allows you to access your PC Boxes from almost everywhere in The Galar Region.
