.Trinket Trove starts on Monopoly Go at 1 PM ET on March 17th and runs until 1 PM ET on March 19th, 2026. In this event there are 62 milestones to work through giving you a chance to win up to 20,275 free dice rolls, sticker packs, boosts, game cash and 199 pickaxes.
When this event ends, the not main banner event is Pom Pom Picnic follow that link for details on the rewards in milestones in that event.
The pickaxes are the real headline here, because they can be used straight away in the Hello Kitty Treasures event that starts at the same time. So if you are trying to make progress in the dig event where the top reward is a while sticker, it's essential to make decent progress in Trinket Trove.
In Trinket Trove, you score points by landing on chance, tax or utility tiles. Chance and utility tiles give two points, tax tiles give three points, and the score is then multiplied by the dice multiplier you used for that roll. Because of that scoring setup, the section of the board around Go is usually the most efficient place to target, with tax and chance tiles sitting fairly close together.
Chance tiles are also handy for another reason. As well as scoring banner points, they can sometimes throw you to the next railroad or give you extra dice, which helps keep your leaderboard tournament progress moving at the same time.
If Hello Kitty Treasures is your main focus, then this is not really an event where you need to chase every last milestone. For most players, the smarter play will be to come away with a strong bundle of pickaxes rather than trying to clear the entire banner. As a rough guide, milestone 27 is the first really solid target for dig event support, and milestone 30 is even better if your dice stack will stretch that far, this should bag you either 59 or 77 pickaxes respectively.
As always, the key is not just rolling more, but rolling smarter. Save your bigger multipliers for the strongest sections of the board, and do not waste too many dice trying to force bad positions. We have added some more specific tips for this type of event further down the page.
In Trinket Trove, points are earned by landing on any chance, tax or utility tile, with the final score multiplied by your dice multiplier. The full rewards and milestones list below shows every prize in the event and how many points you need to reach it.

Alongside the dice, sticker packs and pickaxes, Trinket Trove also includes a few flash boosts that can be worth planning around if you are timing your rolls carefully.
This is a good point to spend some cash on landmark upgrades, especially if you are trying to get hotels in place for a later Color Wheel Boost. Since Builder's Bash discounts upgrades by anywhere from 10 to 50%, it is one of the more useful side rewards in the event. If a Color Wheel Boost is expected soon, check the daily events schedule and see if you can line the two up.
Cash Boost is not the flashiest reward, but it does help if you are running low on game cash and still need to upgrade landmarks. If you are close to milestone 33 already, it can be worth pushing a little further to unlock it.
This is one of the best boost rewards in the event, especially if you still have hotels ready to trigger spins. If you can overlap it with Builder's Bash or quickly build up hotels before it expires, you give yourself a much better shot at extra rewards from the wheel, including sticker packs.
Mega Heist is useful if you also want to score well in the tournament running at the same time. It gives you a better chance of bigger heist results, which means more tournament points as well as more cash.
This is a second Cash Boost later in the event. By that stage the milestone costs are much steeper, so whether it is worth chasing really depends on how many dice you have left and what else is live in the game at the time.
Land on any chance, tax or utility tile to score points in this event. Since those tiles are not spread evenly around the board, it makes sense to be selective about when you roll big and when you keep things steady.
If you are also playing Hello Kitty Treasures, then the main thing you should be thinking about in Trinket Trove is not just dice, but pickaxes. This banner gives out a lot of them, and for many players the real target will be getting far enough through the milestones to build a useful stack for the dig event.
As a rough guide, milestone 27 is the first really solid target if Hello Kitty Treasures is your priority, and milestone 30 is the even better one if your dice stack will stretch that far. By that point you will have picked up a decent number of Pickaxes from this banner, which should give you a much better chance of making useful progress in the dig event without needing to force every single late milestone here.
Scoring for these tiles is as follows:

As a general rule, it is better to stay on a lower multiplier for most of the board and only push higher when you are heading into a stronger scoring section. Utility tiles do score, but they are often a bit isolated. The tax section is usually safer because even if you miss the tile you were aiming for, there is often still a decent chance of landing on another useful square nearby.

The screenshot above shows the section of the board we are talking about. The green arrows point to the tax tiles, the red arrows point to the railroads for tournament points, the yellow arrows point to the chance tiles, and the blue arrow points to a shield tile which may or may not be there for you. While the shield does not score event points, at least it helps soften a missed roll by giving some dice value back if you have shields missing.
