Friendship Pays milestones rewards

Friendship Pays on Monopoly Go starts at 10 AM ET on the 2nd January and runs until 10 AM ET on the 5th January, 2025. In this banner event you have three days to work your way through the 50 milestones to try to collect as many of the rewards as you want, which include up to 18,040 free dice rolls, three five star purple sticker packs and 174 Pickaxes.

Complete the milestones to win prizes including digging tools that you can use in the dig event New Year's Treasures event that is also running at the same time. This event ends at 3 PM ET on January 4th.

When this banner event ends look out for the start of the next one, Chiseled Riches as well as what we think will be the next Peg-E event. Later at 1 PM ET on January 5th, the next tournament, Snowball Smash starts.

Monopoly Go Friendship Pays milestones and rewards

In Friendship Pays, points are earned by landing on tile with the event token on it. In the milestones and rewards list below you can see everything that you can win and the points you need to reach each prize.

Note: This event offers pickaxes/dig tools as rewards. Once the Dig event Ends on Jan 4th these rewards will no longer be available and will be replaced with alternatives, most likely Cash.

Event rewards summary

This event has 50 rewards to claim including 18,040 Dice as well as these other useful prizes.

• Three five star purple sticker packs
• High Roller at milestones 15 and 34

To claim all of the rewards you will need to earn 35,480 points before the end of the event.

How to play Friendship Pays, tips and strategy

In this 'pickup' version of the solo milestone event, you gain points by landing on tiles with the event token on it. These will be placed randomly and will change position as you land on them.

Pickup events in Monopoly Go can be the easiest version of all the different solo milestone events. But you still need to be careful if you are trying to maximize your scores with the big multipliers and of course you'll need a big bag of luck too!

The best opportunities to score are always where there are a group of points tiles together. If you are keen to score in the tournament too then finding a group of pickups near a railroad will give you better chance to get something beneficial out of a high roll. Also look for tokens around a chance tile and a shield tile and that could be the opportunity you've been waiting for to use your biggest multipliers.

Remember that when you land on a pickup tile, the counter will move to a different location so the board is constantly changing. Pay attention to these changes to make sure you don't waste your dice. If the pick up tokens are spread out you can wait until you land on a few of these pickup lone tiles and hopefully better opportunities will occur on the board.

This type of event is definitely not one to use auto roll on if you are looking to maximize the value from your dice. Playing without auto roll does take longer, but you will save dice and score better if you pick when the use a high multiplier on certain parts of the board.

Watch out though, even if you have loads of point scoring tiles in front of you doesn't mean you'll land on them, so no doubt there will be a lot of disappointments, so don't use all your dice on one hero throw!
