How to Play Jungle Treasures and Get More Pickaxes in Monopoly GO

Jungle Treasures is a treasure finding dig event event on Monopoly Go. Starting at 8am ET on January 22nd and running for four days until 12 noon ET on the 26th January 2024. You'll need to get pickaxes in Monopoly Go in order to dig for items and complete levels in Jungle Treasures to win rewards.

With just one day left in the event, we've updated our guide to bring some extra tips from our own experiences playing through it.

What is Jungle Treasures?

Jungle Treasures is another dig event, simular to Moonlight Treasures and Egyptian Treasures.

While Jungle Treasures is different, it will have the same gameplay mechanics as the other dig events, basically you get pickaxes and then find the hidden items.

You can get pickaxes via Quick Wins, 8 hourly shop rewards, tournament milestones, and event milestones. Then you use your pickaxes to uncover blocks on the Jungle Treasures game board, much like battleships, in order to try to uncover hidden treasure.

Find all the treasures for one level to win the level reward and move onto the next one. Fun? Yes, we think so, and a great opportunity to win a load of stickers and dice too.

Here is the complete Jungle Treasures milestones and rewards list. There are now 20 levels instead of the usual 16 in previous digging events.

How to Get More Pickaxes

As explained briefly above, you need to get pickaxes, these can be obtained in five main ways

• Quick Wins - Complete Quick Wins while Jungle Treasures is active for a chance to get some more pickaxes
• 8 Hourly Shop Gift - Collect your free shop gift (top panel of shop scroll it right to the end to find it) while Jungle Treasures is active for a chance to get some pickaxes.
• Tournament Milestone Rewards - Within a tournament, usually one that starts after an event like this has started there are normally pickaxes that you can find. Check out daily schedule for links to current tournament rewards lists.
• Solo Event Milestone Rewards - Same for solo events, when a dig event is running, you have a chance of finding pickaxes in the milestone rewards. Check out daily schedule for links to current event rewards lists.
• Within Jungle Treasures Itself - Some level rewards will give you more pickaxes too.

How to Play Jungle Treasures

Armed with your pickaxes, head into the Jungle Treasures digging mini game and select the squares that you want to uncover. If you've played battleships before, it's a bit like that.

When selecting which square you want to uncover, consider the sizes of the objects you sill need to find and work out what is the best square to target based on that.

Some people go for a diagonal line strategy, which I would also recommend if you are not sure where to start, then drill down based on what objects you have left to find and their sizes.

Jungle Treasures Tips

Here are our top tips from playing through and completing this event.

• Be ready for that Sticker Boom if you complete milestone 13. Sticker Boom will give you 50% extra stickers from packs you open while it is active. So if you are planning on taking advantage of that be aware it's coming up and have your event and tournament milestones where you need to be so you can unlock packs quickly.
• Here are the last two level maps, so you can guess roughly how many dice you'll need. As you will know, treasure locations are different for everyone so there is no point in revealing where ours were.

• Check the milestones and rewards lists for tournaments and main events. Do this by going to Today's Event Schedule and clicking through to the current main event or tournament page which will list the rewards and milestones so you can see where the next pickaxe rewards are and how many more points you'll need.
• The remaining pickaxes that you have get converted to dice after you find the last statue. If you want more dice, just don't complete the final level until you have all the pickaxes you want. The money reward will be different according to your net worth.

Are there any Jungle Treasures Pickaxe Links?

While we don't think there will be any pickaxe links for Jungle Treasures, we do check for free dice links daily, and if any come they will likely appear in the same locations that the dice links are distributed, so if any are released, we will find them and place them on our free dice links.
