How far to play this event?

This will depend on how many tokens I need to complete Toy Shop partners. I don't expect I'll need to go further than level 30, and that is the level I reached in the previous banner event too. After that I'll need a lot of points to reach the next milestone with partner event tokens.

Boosts in this event explained

As well as dice, stickers and Partner event tokens, there are a number of boost events that are also unlocked as you play through the milestones of this event. Here is a list of the boosts and a short explanation of what each one does.

  • Milestone 11 - 10 Minutes Cash Boost

This is a decent boost if you are trying to accumulate game cash. In this event it comes in at milestone 11, so it may persuade you to keep rolling for a little longer. The Cash Boost will just basically increase the cash that you earn on every roll.

  • Milestone 18 - 15 Minutes Builder's Bash

Now is the time to start spending some game cash to at least get hotels on all of your landmarks to prepare for the next Color Wheel Boost, during Builder's Bash all landmark upgrades are discounted anywhere from 10 to 50%. If you know there is a Color Wheel Boost soon, check the daily events schedule, you may want to time to unlock of this boost to coincide with this flash boost..

  • Milestone 33 - 10 Minutes Cash Boost

This is a decent boost if you are trying to accumulate game cash. In this event it returns at milestone 33, and is a repeat of the earlier cash boost from milestone 11.

  • Milestone 44 - 15 Minutes Color Wheel Boost

Great event especially when coincided with Builder's Bash, if you are quick enough to unlock this one while Builder's Bash is still running, is is the best time to load up on hotels on all of your tiles then land on them to get an extra spin of the Color Wheel. Remember that you can get up to two blue sticker packs sometimes from the green vault wedge on this wheel.

  • Milestone 50 - 40 Minutes Mega Heist

Mega Heist gives you a chance of scoring extra tournament points and earning more game cash. So if you are planning to score well in a tournament you stand a much better chance of doing so while this event is running.

  • Milestone 57 - 15 Minutes Cash Boost

This is a decent boost if you are trying to accumulate game cash. In this event it returns at milestone 57, and is a repeat of the earlier cash boost from milestone 33.

My strategy for this event

I would like to complete the Treasures of the Galaxy dig event so my progress will be dicated by how many laser guns I need to finish this event, bearing in mind that I can still collect laser guns as well from the Cosmo Clash and the tournament that starts when that one finishes.

Milestone 33 looks like a good place to aim for if you still need that many laser guns, after that point it starts to become more difficult to complete milestones.

How to get points in Helper Hustle

  1. It's better to aim for the tax tiles as they are closer to railroads and chance tiles.
  2. The only area I use a high multiplier in this type of event is in the final section of the board after Go to Jail and the as I approach the two tax tiles.
  3. It's better to pick and choose when you want to use a high dice multiplier in this event as opposed to using auto roll.
  4. Chance and utility tiles give two points and tax three points, all multiplied by the dice multiplier that you used for that throw to get your score for that go.

Scoring for these tiles are as follows:

  • Chance - two points
  • Tax - three points
  • Utility - two points

Helper Hustle scoring

As a general rule, I tend to use a low multiplier for most of the board except the final section. Although there are utility tiles to aim for, they are pretty much on their own, and at least if you miss a tax tile, there are generally a couple of good tiles close by that you could land on such as chance or a railroad.

Chance, tax and utility event

The screenshot above shows the section of the board I am talking about. The green arrows pointing to the tax tiles, the red arrows pointing to the railroads for tournament points, the yellow arrows pointing to the chance tiles, and the blue arrow is pointing to a shield tile which may or may not be there for you and while it does not score points, at least you won't lose your dice as you'll get the number of dice thrown back minus any shields you have missing.
