How to get more drums in Parade Partners

On April 26th at 8:30 AM ET Parade Partners, the latest partner event started on Monopoly Go and runs for just over five days until 4 PM ET on May 1st. During that time you can collect drums to use on the points wheel for that event in order to build your floats. While we have a guide to Parade Partners, this page explains in more detail all of the ways to get Parade Partners drums to make sure that you get as much help as you can to complete this event.

How to get more free drums in Parade Partners

If you need more drums to get to the next milestone for a float, then we've got you covered in this complete guide to get more drums for this event.

  • Free drum links

While there were some free event token links for the previous partner event, they don't always get distributed for every partner event. If we see any however, they always seem to be given out towards the end, so don't expect to see any for the first couple of days. Although if any do get released, you'll be able to find them on our free dice links page.

  • Main Solo Events

These are the banners that you located in the top and center of the game board. The first main event for Parade Partners is Railroad Rally which starts at 11 AM ET on April 26th and runs for two days until the same time on the 28th April. In this event there are 4,480 drums that you can collect as you work your way through the milestones. Our page on this event lists all of the milestones so you can see where the drums are and how many points you'll need to get each one.

On April 28th at 11 AM ET, another main event Anniversary Auction will be launched and that will run until the end of Parade Partners. You can find details of all currently running events and any that are scheduled to start later in the day on our daily events schedule page.

These solo events are the #1 way to get drums for Parade Partners, but remember to pace yourself as you can also get them from tournaments, this is why you need to time your event participation, which is explained in more detail below.

  • Tournaments

These are one of the icons that are located on the right of the game board. The first tournament for Parade Partners is Property Prodigies which starts at 2 PM ET on April 26th and runs for one day until the same time on the 27th April. In this event there are 1,780 drums that you can collect as you work your way through the milestones. Our page on this event lists all of the milestones so you can see where the drums are and how many points you'll need to get each one.

On April 27th at 2 PM ET, a two day tournament will start, Mortgage Mayday. You can find details of all currently running events and any that are scheduled to start later in the day on our daily events schedule page.

Here's where some strategy comes in. Most players cannot complete events and tournaments, so you need to work out where you ideally want to get to. For me, in tournaments, this is usually around half way depending on the rewards. And for the main events usually between half way and two-thirds of the way. So when there is a main event that lasts for two days and there are two tournaments over that same period, I usually get to the tournament milestone that I want to reach, then stop playng and restart when the next tournament starts which will be day two of the main solo event.

With the idea that I make the same progress in the second tournament, and the playing on those two days combined will leave me more or less where I want to be in the main solo event, then I can just keep playing if I want to reach another main event milestone or stop.

If you don't stagger your event progress like this then you find yourself getting into milestone areas that are too tough to get through and end up with some dice headaches!

  • Around the Board

Look out for drums on the game board, land on these and you'll get the same number of dice that you threw with on that roll as drums. So if you are rolling on a x20 multiplier, then you'll get 20 drums.

Doesn't sound like much, but they can add up to quite a lot over the course of the event.

  • Quick Wins

Quick Wins are a real easy way to get some free drums. While partner events are running, in your Quick Wins rewards you'll get some drums as part of the rewards package. There is usually a decent reward too at the end of the week if you complete them all for seven days. I think you have to do 20 our of 21 of the Quick Wins to get the final big reward. So it's well worth keeping an eye on these easy to complete tasks.

  • Shop Gifts

If you tap on the shop icon, and then just swipe left on the top offer block about five times you'll reach the final screen which is your free shop gift.

Currently, this gift appears every four hours and while there is a partner event running, you should get some event tokens, in this case drums as part of the rewards that you are given there for free. At some point, the shop gift may go back to being every eight hours.

  • From Partners

On the event wheel there is one segment with the word partner on it, when a player lands on this segment, then the partner they are building a fountain with will get the same number of drums that the player used in that spin.

Are there any free drum links?

In partner events sometimes we get event token links and sometimes we don't. If they do appear then usually it is towards the end of the event. My opinion is that Scopely will make the decision to give free drum links based on the overall progress they see people making in an event and if they have increased the difficulty too much.

So, if they can see many people struggling, probably we are more likely to get some drum links. But if they have got their rewards for events correct and people are not having too much trouble completing Parade Partners, then probably we won't see any.

In any case, as stated above, if there are any... We'll find them, and you'll be able to get them via our free dice links page.
