Dig events are usually good value in terms of the rewards you get for the dice you spend especially as you will also be using any rolls in the currently running tournaments and banner events too, and you can get more details on those over on our daily events schedule which also includes details of boost events that run throughout the day, so you can plan the best time to play Monopoly Go to suit what boost you may prefer.

Below you can find my gameplay video which completes the first 11 levels and shows ther 12th, so you can get an idea of how I'm playing the game, even though it is likely that your artifacts will be in a different location to mine. Below the video there are screenshots of all levels plus tips for some.

Levels 1-12

Treasure of the Galaxy levels guide

Here are the screenshots of the all levels in this event. Do bear in mind that the locations of the aritfacts will generally be different to the ones in my game, so the best we can do is show you what the levels look like and give some tips to try to save you some digs.

Levels 1,2 and 3
Levels 1,2 and 3
  • Level 1: Could be any anywhere, just need to find 1 2x1 object, I usually guess in the middle of the board.
  • Level 2: May take a couple of tries for this one. Usually I go for a location one tile from the left and one tile from the top because we know event it is is in a corner, because the shape is 2x2 we know it will have to go to at least that far out.
  • Level 3: This one can be tricky as it is 3 4x1 objects, I actually usually start on an edge and just try to guess logically, making sure I don't click on any tiles that are in an area of less than 4x1
Levels 4,5 and 6
Levels 4,5 and 6
  • Level 4: This one you just have to dig the center tile. It'll take two shots to get destroyed but then you'll be able to see where the rest of the artifact is easily.
  • Level 5: This is another tricky level with four 4x1 objects to find. There is a decent chance though to get the mole to help you in this level if you are lucky. The size of the board is 7 tiles high, so there can't be two of these objects on top of each other in the same column. A decent place to start is in the middle row, the fourth row down. However they can also be situated horizontally as the board is 4 tiles wide.
  • Level 6: There will be one object in each of the four sections of this puzzle. The best option is to beak the middle tile in each of the sections to reveal one part of each artifact and then you can easily find the rest.
Levels 7,8 and 9
Levels 7,8 and 9
  • Level 7: Here you have to finf two 4x1 objects. The logical way to do it would be to select the

center on the top, left, right and bottom bars, or all four corners, either way, after four digs, you'll be able to see where all of the objects are.

  • Level 8: Probably the best palce to start is three tiles in fromthe left and 2 tiles down because the smallest object is 3x2, and that would be the minimum space needed for any object on the board, the other object is 4x2 tiles.
  • Level 9: This one can be tricky because the four arrows you need to find are all 3x1 so hitting the center tile in each column won't necessarily help beacuse there are three spaces above and three spaces below. So, my suggestion would be to hit the tiles above and below the center tiles until you find the arrows.
Levels 10, 11 and 12
Levels 10, 11 and 12
  • Level 10: In this level there are three 3x1 objects and two 2x1 objects just make sure you don't waste guesses by digging areas that an object can't fit into. This is another level that the mole regularly appears in.
  • Level 11: This one can be a bit of a pain as the four center tiles all need two hits to dig them completely, however the is a chance of getting a mole and even extra laser guns on the board. Because the big object is 4x4, you'll have to clear all four of those double hit tiles. The other two objects are both 2x1. Complete this level to win the Rocket Raccoon shield skin[/strong]
  • Level 12: This level can be tricky because of the sizes of the objects that need to be found which are 3x1 and 1x1. Choose logically to avoid wasting digs.

How many laser guns will I need to finish Treasures of the Galaxy?

Although the number you need will depend on your luck or skill at uncovering the treasures, based on previous experience my estimation is that you'll need somewhere in the region of 450 laser guns to have a shot at completing all 25 levels in Treasures of the Galaxy. There are many ways to get these over the 4+ days of the event.

Remember that you'll get some laser guns from Quick Wins, some more from the eight hourly shop gift, some more from the actual treasure hunt event rewards itself and the mole may also help reduce the amount you need. So from actual events and tournaments, you may just need 350 ish! It's really hard to say an exact number as some people will require less and some people more, it'll depend on your luck.

How to get more laser guns for Treasures of the Galaxy?

There are various ways to easily get laser guns in Treasures of the Galaxy, here is a complete rundown.

  1. Solo banner events

There are the events that you see advertised in the game in the top center of the screen. During dig events there will usually be a couple of the solo events to take part in and many milestones with laser guns as rewards.

You can find out which solo milestone event is currently running and get a complete rewards list for it by heading over to our daily events schedule and finding a link to the solo milestone event.

The first banner event running in conjunction with this dig event is Galactic Getaway which runs until 10 AM ET on November 22nd, then Space Sprouts which starts when that event finishes and runs until the end of the dig event.

Usually, the solo milestone event is the single BEST way to get the bulk of the laser guns that you need to complete this Treasures of the Galaxy event.

  2. Tournaments

Tournaments are the other events that happen at the same time. These are listed on the right of the game screen and will rewards you for completing either Shutdown or Bank Heist when you land on a Railroad tile.

These tournaments also have milestones, and when digging events such as Treasures of the Galaxy are running you'll be able get some laser guns within the milestone rewards for the tournament.

You will also be able to find details of today's tournament plus a link to the milestone rewards where you can see how far you need to play the tournament to get more laser guns over on our daily events schedule. Tournaments are the second best way to get laser guns in Monopoly Go.

Thr first tournament running at the same time as this dig event is Dance-Off Lords which runs until 1 PM ET on November 21st, then it's the turn of Cosmo Clash which runs until 1 PM ET on November 23rd, then when that event ends, the final tournament to features laser guns for this dig event is Karaoke Stars starts and runs until the end of the dig event.

  3. Quick Wins

You can access Quick Wins via the 'WIN' tab at the bottom of the game screen, while there are special events running, you will usually get the event item (Laser guns) as one of the rewards for each Quick Win you complete. You don't get as many as you do with sole milestone events and tournaments, but you can get a useful amount of laser guns from Quick Wins, especially if you complete all three of them every day of Treasures of the Galaxy.

  4. Shop gift

Every eight hours you can collect a free gift from the shop. You can normally find this by going to the shop in the game and then swiping the top block to the left about five times until you get to the end. There will either be a free gift waiting for you which will normally include laser guns while digging events are running, or a timer telling you when to come back to collect your free gift.

  5. By completing Treasures of the Galaxy levels

Some of the levels include free laser guns as part of the rewards, look out for these in the rewards and milestones list in the table above,

Those are the only five ways to get free laser guns in Monopoly Go in order from top to bottom.

Live and Next events on Monopoly Go All Events
LiveJun 5 - 7Fortune Derby - Rewards & Milestones
LiveJun 5 - 6Springfield Monorail Tournament - Rewards & Milestones
LiveJun 3 - 7Springfield Racers - Rewards & Milestones

Normally, there are no free laser gun links. If we spot any however, you'll be able to find them on our free dice links page, which is a page we update every day with the latest free dice links to get you some extra free rolls in the game. These links are distributed by Scopely, and all are tested by us before we publish them on our website to make sure that they work and are legitimate links.

What happens to laser guns at the end of Treasures of the Galaxy

At the end of the Treasures of the Galaxy event, any left over laser guns are convered to dice. Usually at a rate of three dice for every one laser gun or pickaxe. Some players choose not to uncover the last object on their boards so they can gather more laser guns for extra free dice at the end of the event.

So if you have 10 laser guns left over at the end of the event, if they are still using the same ratio as in previous events, you should get 30 free dice at the end of the event.

Treasures of the Galaxy event tips and strategy

We've been playing all of the similar digging events in Monopoly such as Moonlight Treasures and Galactic Treasures, so have had the time to work out the best ways to give you the best chance to complete this event, here's what we've got.

  • Check the milestone lists of events and tournaments

It's really important to check the milestones list of the solo milestone event and tournament that is running at the same time as Treasures of the Galaxy, you can do this by heading to our daily events schedule to get a link to the current events to view their rewards and milestones list. This allows you to work out how far you should go in each of the events before it starts to get too difficult for you to get laser guns. Having a plan by looking at these rewards lists can be really helpful. Remember to check the start and end dates for these events because usually you can have two or three tournaments which last for one day each, and only one solo milestone event which may last two or three days, so you may want to plan to stagger progress in the solo event and spread over the two or three tournaments that run over that time.

  • Don't waste your guesses

Pay attention to the sizes of the items that you need to find in the game and only click on locations on the board that the remaining items will actually fit.

  • Use the Checkerboard technique

If you are unsure where to start with your guesses, one suggestion is to use the checkerboard technique, so you leave a gap of one square between guesses, like a checkerboard. Some items that you need to find however are 1x1 so that technique won't work to find those!

  • Things can be rotated

Remember that the items that you need to find can be rotated horizontally or vertically.

That wraps up my guide to Treasures of the Galaxy, I will add more useful information if it becomes available. Enjoy the event and I hope you find everything.
