Galactic Getaway milestones and rewards

Galactic Getaway on Monopoly Go is a two day solo event where you can win dice, stickers, and laser guns that you can use in the new dig event, Treasures of the Galaxy for chances to win even more rewards.

Both of these events start at the same time which is from 8 AM ET on November 20th. Also starting at the same time is the tournament, Dance-Off Lords which also has more laser guns to help with the dig event, when that tournament ends at 1 PM ET on November 21st, a new two day tournament, Cosmo Clash will start.

When this event ends, the next banner event, Space Sprouts, will start.

Monopoly Go Galactic Getaway rewards and milestones

Below you will find a milestone and rewards guide which lists every thing that can be won in this event and how many points are needed for each prize. Points are won by landing and corner tile, which will give you four points mulitplied by the dice multiplier that you used for that throw. Our own strategy for playing this type of event is further down the page.

Event rewards summary

This event has 50 rewards to claim including 18,845 Dice as well as these other useful prizes.

• Two one star green sticker packs
• Two two star yellow sticker packs

• Two four star blue sticker packs
• Three five star purple sticker packs
• Two High Rollers at milestones 15, 36

To claim all of the rewards you will need to earn 38,745 points before the end of the event.

My strategy for Galactic Getaway

With just two gold stickers left to complete the main album, I want to try to finish the dig event, Treasures of the Galaxy and get a wild sticker, based on previous similar events, I know I'll need to collect more or less 350 laser guns from the events and tournaments that are running at the same time as the dig event. So for me, that more or less works out to about 100 from each of the two banner events that we'll see over the four days, and about 50 from each of the three tournaments.

So, this being the first banner event, and we are not 100% sure how things will pan out for the dig event, I'll be aiming for a minimum of completing milestone 27 in this event which will get me 114 laser guns. I'll do this over two days so I get to participate in both today's tournament and tomorrow's. If I get to milestone 27 on day one, then try to collect points for tomorrow's tournament, no doubt I'll also land on more corners and they will likely be wasted points unless I can reach another laser guns milestone which would be 31 and 33.

This wouldn't be a bad thing anyway as there would be less pressure to win points in the next banner event that starts in two days.

These tips are based on dice management and intended for players that are not spending much on the game or are free to play and want to try to conserve dice but still do well in events.

How to get points and win Reps for Rewards rewards

In this event you can score points by landing on any corner tile. That will get you four points multiplied by the dice multiplier that you used to land on the tile. The corners are spread out across the board, so my own opinion is that the best option is to just auto roll on a multiplier that you are comfortable with. Trying to time for a seven or eight, I don't think works too well.

Another option is to just use a large multiplier when approaching Go to Jail, as that tile gives you a chance of winning some dice back too.

There is always a tournament running too, and you score points in that event by landing on railroads.

Watch out for getting tempted to use too many dice at the same time, it can work out well a lot of the times, but sometimes it doesn't and you end up losing a load of dice! Pay attention also to the points needed for milestones, particularly the gap between free roll milestones as that is the next opportunity to win more dice and keep rolling.
