.The Hello Kitty crossover continues with Hello Kitty Treasures, a five-day Monopoly GO dig event running from Tuesday March 17 at 1 PM ET until Sunday March 22 at 4 PM ET.
This is a bigger dig event than usual, with 40 levels to clear and a lot of rewards up for grabs. In this guide we take a look at the full Hello Kitty Treasures rewards list, how many dice rolls are available across the event, and roughly how many pickaxes you may need if you want to reach the final level.
There are between 5,675 and 8,675 dice rolls available in total, along with a good spread of sticker packs, the Cinnamoroll Heart shield skin, and a Wild Sticker on the final level. So if you are trying to make progress on your album while also building your dice count, this is definitely one of the better events to be playing.
That said, this is not an easy dig event to finish. The minimum number of pickaxes shown across all 40 boards adds up to 359, but that is only the theoretical minimum. In reality, your total will depend on luck, double-hit blocks, mole clears, and how efficiently you uncover each board.
My rough estimate is that most players will need around 450 pickaxes or a bit more to complete the whole event. That means planning is especially important this time, because there are only a few levels that give pickaxes back as rewards, with the last one coming on level 17.
If you are serious about finishing, it is well worth checking the rewards and milestones of the other live events so you know where the pickaxes are before you spend too many dice. Head to our daily events schedule to find links to the current banner event and tournament reward lists.
If you just want the main numbers and standout rewards first, here are the key highlights from Hello Kitty Treasures.

As with any Monopoly GO dig event, the main thing you need is pickaxes, and most of them will come from the events running alongside Hello Kitty Treasures. This version of the event does not give many back through its own level rewards, so it is worth being a bit more careful than usual.
Use these pickaxes to clear each board, uncover all the hidden objects, and move on to the next level. The more carefully you plan around the live events, the better your chance of reaching the later rewards without wasting too many dice.
It is impossible to give an exact number because every run will be a bit different. Some boards will go your way, some will not, and factors like moles, double-hit tiles, and lucky finds can save or cost you a surprising number of pickaxes.
Based on previous dig events of a similar size, and knowing that the minimum shown across the 40 boards is 359, my estimate is that most players will need somewhere around 450 pickaxes or a bit more to finish Hello Kitty Treasures.
That is still only a rough guide, but it is a more realistic number to plan around than the bare minimum. If you want to finish this event, you will almost certainly need to collect more pickaxes than usual from the banner events and tournaments, because fewer are being given out through the level rewards this time.
The minimum number of pickaxes shown across all 40 levels adds up to 359. That is the theoretical lowest total based on the number displayed in the top left of each board.
It is a very useful planning number, but it should only be treated as a rough guide. It does not account for things like moles clearing extra spaces, double-hit blocks taking more than one dig, or boards where you need extra guesses before finding the remaining items.
So while 359 is the minimum on paper, most players will likely need around 450 or more pickaxes in practice if they want a realistic chance of completing the full event.
Normally, there are no free pickaxe links for treasure dig events. If any official ones do appear, you will be able to find them on our free dice links page.
That page is updated every day with the latest Monopoly GO free dice links, and if Scopely releases any legitimate event links we will test them first before adding them there.
We have played a lot of Monopoly GO dig events, including Moonlight Treasures and Galactic Treasures, and the same basic approach still works here. If you want the best chance of finishing Hello Kitty Treasures without burning through too many dice, these are the main things to keep in mind.
It is really important to check the rewards list of the solo event and tournament running at the same time as Hello Kitty Treasures. You can do that through our daily events schedule. This helps you work out how far you should go in each event before the pickaxe milestones start to become too expensive for your dice stack. Having a plan makes a big difference, especially when one solo event overlaps with two or three shorter tournaments.
Pay close attention to the shapes and sizes of the items still left on the board. Once you have uncovered a few spaces, you can often rule out a lot of bad guesses simply because the remaining item will not fit there.
If you have no obvious place to start, the checkerboard approach can be a good way to cover more of the board efficiently by leaving one square between guesses. Just remember that this is less useful when the only thing left is a 1x1 item.
Remember that the items hidden on the board can appear horizontally or vertically, so always keep both orientations in mind.
Moles can save you a lot of digs when they pop up, but there is no real way to target them. Think of them as a bonus when you get lucky rather than something you can plan around.
Dig events can be a good chance to come out ahead on dice, but only if you are careful. In most cases it is better to play steadily on a sensible multiplier than to chase every expensive milestone and end up overspending your dice just to win a few more pickaxes.
