This event also coincides with the dig event Sunset Tresures which also ends at 4 PM ET on the 8th July.

Independence Stars Tournament Rewards Summary

This event has 30 rewards to claim including 4,000 Dice as well as these other useful prizes.

• 104 Pickaxes
• One one star green sticker pack
• One two star yellow sticker pack
• One three star pink sticker pack
• One four star blue sticker pack
• High Roller at milestone 6

To claim all of the rewards you will need to earn 17,345 points before the end of the event.

How to Score Points in Tournaments

Score in the tournaments on Monopoly Go by landing on Railroads, then you play either Shutdown or Bank Heist and get the following points.

Shutdown
• Shutdown Blocked - 2 points
• Shutdown Success - 4 points

Bank Heist

• Small Heist - 4 Points
• Large Heist - 6 Points
• Bankrupt - 8 Points
• Mega Heist Gold Bars - 12 Points

Those points are then multiplied according to the dice multiplier that you used.

My strategy for this event

With this being the final tournament before the end of Sunset Treasures, I'll only be going as far in this tournament as I need to to get enough pickaxes to finish that dig event, because I believe there will be a new partner event, Ice Cream Partners coming soon so I want to save some dice for that event.

Also, by not pushing too hard and getting too high a position in this tournament leaderboard and tomorrow's, it may help me to get into an easier tournament group for the tournament that starts with the next partner event and therefore make it easier to get leaderboard rewards for that event which usually include the event token in partner events.
