What Happens to Extra Pickaxes at the End of Sunset Treasures

If you still have some pickaxes left after the end of the Greek Treasures or any dig event in Monopoly Go, the game will convert them, usually at a rate of 1:3 into dice.

So for every pickaxe you have left over you'll get three dice given to you in exchange for the leftover pickaxes. Therefore if you have 10 pickaxes left over you should get 30 dice at the end of the event.

Do note however, that once you complete the final level, usually level 20, you'll no longer be able to collect more pickaxes from event rewards. So if you want to try to get extra dice for your efforts you can hold off on completing the final level so can can continue to collect more pickaxes before the event ends.

Just don't forget to dig away and complete the final level before the event ends, otherwise you will miss out on that final reward of a five star purple sticker pack and 2,500 free dice.
