Easter Egg Hunt on Monopoly Go is another chance to grab up to 199 Pickaxes to use in the current dig event, Spring Treasures where there is a Wild Sticker on offer if you can complete the whole event.

This solo banner event kicks off at 1 PM ET on the 19th April and runs until 4 PM ET on the 21st April, 2025 and as well as pickaxes there are 18,205 free dice rolls waiting to be won along with various flash boost events and a number of sticker packs.

In Easter Egg Hunt, points are earned by landing on any chance, community chest or railroad tile. This is super handy because landing on railroads will also score you points in any tournament that is also running at the same time, which is Bunny Bounce.

When this event ends at 4 PM ET on April 21st, look out for the start of The Peg-E event, Roll Drop as well as the banner event, City Cleanup, and tournament, Cycle Circuit.

How to play Easter Egg Hunt, tips and strategy

For this event, points are scored by landing on either chance, community chest or any railroad. Land on any of those three tiles to score points. The points you get for landing on each of those tiles are as follows:

• Chance - one point
• Community Chest - one point
• Railroad - two points

Usually the railroad the clear tile that you need to aim for in this event as you'll also get points for the tournment that runs at the same time by landing on a railroad tile. Landing on chance is ok too as there is a chance that you'll get sent to the nearest railroad anyway!

There is no best railroad to aim for, you just need to hope you get a Bank Heist when you land on one because that will get you the most tournament points. If I have to pick a railroad however, then it would be the one before Go, simply because there is a chance tile right after it, and a community chest tiles a little way before it.

Also consider the placement of shield tiles too, because if you land on one of these at least you'll your dice back if you landed there will full shields anyway.

Remember also, that railroads also give you tournament points, so have a think about your current tournament progress and if you would be better off waiting for the next tournament to start before starting or progressing further in this event.

Watch out though, even if you have loads of point scoring tiles in front of you doesn't mean you'll land on them, so no doubt there will be a lot of disappointments, so don't use all your dice on one hero throw!
