On April 6th at 8:30 AM ET Fountain Partners, the latest partner event started on Monopoly Go and runs for just over five days until 4 PM ET on April 11th. During that time you can collect gold coins to use on the points wheel for that event in order to build your fountains. While we have a guide to Fountain Partners, this page explains in more detail all of the ways to get Fountain Partners gold coins to make sure that you get as much help as you can to complete this event.
Need more gold coins to get to the next milestone for a fountain, then we've got you covered in this complete guide to get more coins for this event.
Update 10th April 2024: So far two gold coin links have dropped:
You can find these and all of the latest free dice links on the following page: free dice links
These links just open up your Monopoly Go game and then tell you if you get the reward or not. The links are redeemable only once per game account.
These are the banners that you located in the top and center of the game board. The first main event for Fountain Partners is Pillar Prize Tour which starts at 11 AM ET on April 6th and runs for two days until the same time on the 8th April. In this event there are 3,750 gold coins that you can collect as you work your way through the milestones. Our page on this event lists all of the milestones so you can see where the gold coins are and how many points you'll need to get each one.
On April 11th at 11 AM ET, another main event will be launched and again we expect to see a similar number of gold coins available to win in this next main solo event too. You can find details of all currently running events and any that are scheduled to start later in the day on our daily events schedule page.
These solo events are the #1 way to get gold coins for Fountain Partners, but remember to pace yourself as you can also get them from tournaments, this, as well as why you need to time your event participation is explained in more detail below.
These are one of the icons that are located on the right of the game board. The first tournament for Fountain Partners is Marble Trouble which starts at 2 PM ET on April 6th and runs for one day until the same time on the 7th April. In this event there are 1,780 gold coins that you can collect as you work your way through the milestones. Our page on this event lists all of the milestones so you can see where the gold coins are and how many points you'll need to get each one.
On April 7th at 2 PM ET, another tournament will start. You can find details of all currently running events and any that are scheduled to start later in the day on our daily events schedule page.
Here's where some strategy comes in. Most players cannot complete events and tournaments, so you need to work out where you ideally want to get to. For me, in tournaments, this is usually around half way depending on the rewards. And for the main events usually between half way and two-thirds of the way. So when there is a main event that lasts for two days and there are two tournaments over that same period, I usually get to the tournament milestone that I want to reach, then stop playng and restart when the next tournament starts which will be day two of the main solo event.
With the idea that I make the same progress in the second tournament, and the playing on those two days combined will leave me more or less where I want to be in the main solo event, then I can just keep playing if I want to reach another main event milestone or stop.
If you don't stagger your event progress like this then you find yourself getting into milestone areas that are too tough to get through and end up with some dice headaches!
Look out for gold coins on the game board, land on these and you'll get the same number of dice that you threw with on that roll as gold coins. So if you are rolling on a x20 multiplier, then you'll get 20 gold coins.
Doesn't sound like much, but they can add up to quite a lot over the course of the event.
Quick Wins are a real easy way to get some free gold coins. While partner events are running, in your Quick Wins rewards you'll get some gold coins as part of the rewards package. There is usually a decent reward too at the end of the week if you complete them all for seven days. I think you have to do 20 our of 21 of the Quick Wins to get the final big reward, which this week includes a Wild Sticker! So it's well worth keeping an eye on these easy to complete tasks.
If you tap on the shop icon, and then just swipe left on the top offer block about five times you'll reach the final screen which is your free shop gift.
This gift appears every eight hours and while there is a partner event running, you should get some event tokens, in this case gold coins as part of the rewards that you are given there for free.
On the event wheel there is one segment with the word partner on it, when a player lands on this segment, then the partner they are building a fountain with will get the same number of gold coins that the player used in that spin.
In the screenshot above my partner landed on the partner segment three times each time using 100 gold coin spins, so I got 3x100 gold coins!
In partner events sometimes we get event token links and sometimes we don't. If they do appear then usually it is towards the end of the event. My opinion is that Scopely make the decision to give free gold coin links based on the overall progress they see people making in an event and if they have increased the difficulty too much.
So, if they can see many people struggling, probably we are more likely to get some gold coin links. But if they have got their rewards for events correct and people are not having too much trouble completing Fountain Partners, then probably we won't see any free gold coin links.
In any case, as stated above, if there are any... We'll find 'em! And you'll be able to get them via our free dice links page.
