With the new Monopoly Origins season, comes a new partners event, and here you can find everything you need to know about Gardening Partners rewards, milestones and our top tips for finding a partner and playing this event on Monopoly Go.
As usual, this partner event runs for 5 days. It started at 4am ET on the 8th January and finishes on the 13th at 3pm ET, giving you until then to complete your four partner gardens and grab those big rewards.
As well as the usual milestone rewards that you unlock as you complete each of the four gardens, there is also the grand prize of 5,000 dice, the new Garden Cat token, a Scottie Dog Emoji and a 5-star purple sticker pack which you can get if you complete all four gardens.
Here is a list of rewards and milestones for each individual garden. This list is based on data from the previous partners event and we will update it if anything is different.
Milestone for Individual Project | Total Points | Rewards |
---|---|---|
2,500 | 2,500 | 200 Dice |
6,000 | 8,500 | Money |
13,000 | 21,500 | Blue Vault - 250 Dice and Money |
26,500 | 48,000 | Pink Vault - 400 Dice, 3-Star Pink Sticker Pack |
32,000 | 80,000 | 500 Dice, Money and a 4-Star Blue Sticker Pack |
80,000 points will complete one garden, so if you want to complete all four then you'll need 320,000 points between you and your partners.
While it's good etiquette to try to aim for 50% or so points in each of your gardens, you may find that some partners do not contribute much, so be careful when selecting your partners.
Also note that it doesn't matter if you contribute zero points or all of them, you and your partner will get the same reward for completing a garden. You can't change your partners once you have selected them, so choose carefully.
If this is your first time playing a partner event on Monopoly Go, or you just need your memory refreshed, then we are here to help you out.
To get started, click on the of the green plus icons on the board, this will take you to a friends list. You can then choose to invite someone from that list, or accept any invites that have been sent to you.
I do recommend though to cross check in your friends leaderboard any potential partners to make sure they are active players and at least the same net worth level as you. You need to do everything you can to make sure you get a partner that will help to contribute to building the gardens, because going it alone is super difficult.
You don't have to select four partners right away, just one is ok, you can add more at any time during the event.
Now you need to go collect some flowers, there are loads of ways to do this and we explain it in more detail in the section below.
Once you have flowers and at least one partner you can start to work on a garden, to do this select one of the gifts from the middle of the board, then bearing in mind how many flowers you have, adjust the multiplier of the wheel and give it a spin. This will dictate how many points you get for the spin and how far along the milestones you get.
From here you can select the left and right arrows to move to the different gifts that you have in progress and help out whichever one you want with wheel spins from your flowers.
Here is a quick rundown, but you may want to also check out more detailed page about how to get more Gardening Partners flowers.
Look out for event items being available on the game board, in Quick Wins, in the 8-hourly shop gift, in events and tournaments. There may also be links with event items as we get further along in Gardening Partners.
If you are looking for flowers in tournaments and events, then wait until the new ones come out later on the day the Gardening Partners start as you won't find any in the ones that started running before Gardening Partners started.
If you have left over flowers at the end of the event, these are usually converted into some kind of reward. This changes from event to event, but usually you can expect some game money and dice.
We do expect to see some at some point in this event. If there are any you'll be able to find them on our Gardening Partners free flowers links page
