The Lucky Rocket is a new boost that is in play diring some Tycoon Racer events, including the one currently running in March 2025.
When you get this boost the next turn you take in the current racer event will be locked to only feature dice numbers 4,5 and 6 giving you a much higher chance of rolling a double or a treble.
With this new boost, there are a few things to bear in mind, and we have everything explained in this article, including how to get this useful item and how best to use it in any racer event.
These can either be acquired as milestone rewards when you complete laps in a racer event or from the milestones of one of the events running at the same time as a racer event. The important thing to know though is that you can only have one Lucky Rocket in your inventory at a time, they don't stack! So if you are holding one, and then unlock another, you won't get it, you'll just stay with one.
When it comes to the best strategy for getting Lucky Rockets from the milestones of an event is realizing when you want to use that boost. For example in the current Snow Racers event, there is the banner event, Lift to the Top. In that banner event there are three Lucky Rocket boosts to be won, one at each of the milestones 4, 23, and 38. As soon as you complete a milestone with one of these items, it will be added to your racer account, and it will be active only for the next turn on your popper.
So if you want to go hard only on the first and third racers of Snow Racers, then it could be a good idea to unlock the first Lucky Rocket in the banner event during the first race, and then only reach the milestones for the final two after the third race starts.

Lucky Rockets are essentially used as soon as you win them from a milestone. They activate immediately and are applied to your next hit on the dice popper in the racer event. So it's only good to reach and complete these milestones to get a Lucky Rocket when you know you want to use one.
The best race to use them is dependent on your race strategy, there is no point in wasting them in a race that you don't want to compete in. For example, I want to try to win the first and third races only, so I will unlock the first Lucky Rocket at milestone 5 of Lift to the Top and use it during that first race. Then I won't compete in the second race, instead, I will save my flags for the important third race which gives double medals.
So, I will get close to the second Lucky Rocket at milestone 23 in Lift to the Top but not complete it until the third race starts. This will also give me a lot of leeway to play through the various tournaments and get flags from those events.
Further complications come if you are racing as part of a team, which is what I imagine most of you are doing as the rewards are much better. Because if one member of your team holds a Lucky Rocket, then if another member of your team also unlocks another Lucky Rocket, this second one will not get added to your account if you are already holding one, because as we said at the start of this article, Lucky Rockets don't stack.
So coordination with your team is essential. If you are teaming up as part of a community, such as over with our friends at the AppGamer Monopoly Go forum, then you can set up a post to track Lucky Rocket strategy. Alternatively, you can look open the racer event and check to see who is holding Lucky Rockets still before you unlock the next one.
It's unlikely a team will get the strategy perfect and no doubt Lucky Rockets will get wasted especially as this is the first race with this new boost, but in all team events, and especially the racer event now, communication can be vitally important to your success not only when it comes to the Lucky Rocket boost but also in coordinating which races you will be trying to win and how many flags you all have left, so we do recommend that you take a look at the AppGamer Monopoly Go forum not only for these partner type events, but also for sticker trading too.
