Fortune Flip is a new Carnival Game on Monopoly Go where you have to flip cards in order to build up a stack of tokens which you can redeem for prizes at the end of your turn. Look out for this in your game app from 3 PM ET on February 8 until 12 PM ET on February 9 2026.
Also running at the same time within Carnival Games is Juggle Jam which you can choose to play instead of Fortune Flip.
This guide takes you through how to play this fun new event on Monopoly Go and let's you know if we think it's worth collecting Fortune Flip tokens from the banner events and tournaments in order to play it.
Just like in other special events, you can collect tokens via the milestones of any tournament or solo banner event that is running at the same time, also from Quick Wins and the eight hourly free shop gift. Check out our Daily Event Schedule for links to the milestones and rewards lists for current events so you know how many points you'll need to get Fortune Flip tokens.
After you have collected some tokens from the rewards of the banner event or tournament, tap on the Carnival Games Fortune Flip event icon which is just below the tournament icon on the right side of the game app.
When you initially start the game you can play through it once. This turn consists of eight turns where you have to try to get the best cards out of the once laid out in front of you. There are also rounds where you can pick a boost such as Reveal a Card or Pick two Cards.

When you are shown a number of cards in front of you, you are first shown them face up, then they are turned over and mixed so you don't know where each one is. There are some cards that will work against you abut most are positive and will add tokens.

Look out for the deadly divide by two card. That will cut your total points score by half! You definitely want to try to avoid that one.
After you have completed all right turns you can then either choose to cash out your tokens for one of the rewards at the top of the screen, or save them for later and accumulate more Fortune Flip tokens to play another round of right turns.
While it takes 30 Fortune Flip tokens to play a full round, you can also use the multiplier to x2 or x3 your token rewards, this generally means the cards you get given have bigger rewards. X2 codes 60 tokens and x3, 90.
The rewards are similar to Juggle Jam, look out for the gold rewards, these are often the best value. The chests can be great too and often contain a sticker pack of the same color as the chest, some dice and more Fortune Flip tokens. Single rewards include dice, game cash, boosts and sticker packs.

If you don't like any of the rewards in the shop, it may be a good idea to use some tickets to pay for a shop refresh, the price is indicated to the right of the three reward offers in the event.

One thing to note though is that each time you use it, the price of a refresh goes up. What it does do though is it removes all three rewards, and replaces then with three others.
