Springfield Monorail Tournament Rewards and Milestones

Monopoly Go's latest Springfield Monorail tournament runs from 1 PM ET on the 5th June until 1 PM ET on the 6th June, 2026. In this event there are 40 milestone levels of rewards to win including 5,735 free dice rolls and also various sticker packs and 2,160 Flags.

There are also some leaderboard rewards depending on the position that you finish in your group at the end of the event. Leaderboard rewards help you increase your Tycoon Class level which brings you greater rewards for the top leaderboard positions in forthcoming tournaments during the same season.

The next tournament will start on Monopoly Go after this one ends. Check back here to find all the new milestones and rewards that you can win.

How to
Score
Land on any railroad tile to trigger either Shutdown or Bank Heist. Your base points from the mini game are then multiplied by your dice multiplier. Full scoring breakdown is in the How Tournaments Work section below.

The banner event Fortune Derby is also running at the same time. This event will start at 1 PM ET on June 5th 2026.

All Monopoly Go Tournament milestones and rewards listed

As with all tournaments on Monopoly Go, you earn points by landing on railroads, then these points are used to progress through the rewards of the event. The points you get depend on whether you play the shut down or bank heist event when landing on a railroad and how you perform in those mini games. The complete points system is given below the milestones list.

Consider timing when you play the event based on the boost events that are happening, as some may be particularly helpful, a complete list of predicted times for boost events every day is here, Monopoly Go daily schedule.

Please note: Some players may see different rewards.

General Tournament Strategy

  • Balance your tokens. When a special event is running alongside the tournament, aim for roughly the halfway mark on the milestones - or wherever the event token rewards cluster around that level. That's usually enough to get a solid haul of tokens without burning through your entire dice stack on the tournament alone.
  • Pace yourself across events. Try to work through the tournament milestones at roughly the same rate as any banner event running at the same time. If you push too far ahead in one, you'll end up hitting expensive milestones there while cheap and easy ones are still sitting unclaimed in the other.
  • Guard your leaderboard position. If you're pushing for a top finish, check back shortly before the tournament ends. Players often make a late push in the final hour, so keep enough dice in reserve to defend your spot - or snipe a position or two if the opportunity is there.
  • You don't have to win every time. Finishing top consistently puts you into harder groups for the next tournament. It's worth taking it easy for a round so you land in a softer group when you're actually ready to go all out, this is especially useful if you know there is a big event on the horizon such as partners event or a long dig event.

How Tournaments Work

Tournaments run continuously on Monopoly Go - as soon as one ends, the next one starts. You score points by landing on any of the four railroad tiles on the board, which triggers one of two mini games: Shutdown or Bank Heist. The points you earn depend on how you perform in the mini game, and that score is then multiplied by whatever dice multiplier you were using for that roll.

Shutdown & Bank Heist Scoring

When you land on a railroad, the game randomly picks either Shutdown or Bank Heist for you to play. In Shutdown, you basically just have to select one of the available landmarks that you are show to hit, it will either have a shield or not, that will dictate your score. Bank Heist works by you selecting tiles to reveal, the first set of matching three will determine your score.

Mini Game Result Base Points
Shutdown
Shutdown Blocked 2 points
Shutdown Success 4 points
Bank Heist
Small Heist 4 points
Large Heist 6 points
Bankrupt 8 points
Mega Heist* (Gold Bars) 12 points
*Mega Heist is only available while the Mega Heist boost is active, and even then, it is only a chance of a Mega Heist.

These base points are multiplied by your dice multiplier. So if you're rolling on ×10 and get a 'Bankrupt' Bank Heist, that's 80 tournament points from a single railroad landing.

Leaderboard & Tycoon Express

Each tournament places you in a group with other players. Your final position in the group determines your leaderboard reward, which scales based on your Tycoon Class level. Higher class means better rewards for the same finishing position. Finishing well also earns Tycoon Express points that push your class level up for future tournaments within the same season.

One thing worth knowing: the game tends to group you with players who performed similarly in recent tournaments. If you went all-out and finished first last time, expect tougher competition this time around. Some players deliberately ease off every other tournament to keep their groups manageable.

Tips for Tournament Scoring

Railroads are evenly spaced around the board, one per side. There's no way to target them specifically since dice rolls are random, but using a higher multiplier means each railroad landing is worth more when you do hit one. If a Mega Heist boost is active during the tournament, you'll have a chance to win more money and get more points from a Heist.

Tournament Leaderboard Rewards

Here are what we think the leaderboard rewards will be for this event. For some players these may be different and depend on their level in the current Tycoon Express season. The rewards listed below are based on the Tycoon Class level.

As well as the following rewards, there may be extra rewards for some special events, and also express coins to help you get to the next class level, find out all about this feature in our Tycoon Express guide.
