How to Score Points in Tournaments

Score in the tournaments on Monopoly Go by landing on Railroads, then you play either Shutdown or Bank Heist and get the following points.

Shutdown
• Shutdown Blocked - 2 points
• Shutdown Success - 4 points

Bank Heist

• Small Heist - 4 Points
• Large Heist - 6 Points
• Bankrupt - 8 Points

Those points are the multiplied according to the dice multiplier that you used.

How to Play Tournaments

The best way to play tournaments is in conjunction with the other events that are running at the same time, check out our daily events schedule for details of the current main event and which tiles will score points as well as the flash events such as high roller and the time they will appear in the game.

Winning a Monopoly Go tournament also depends a lot on the group you are placed with, there may be some real high scorers in there which will make winning this tournament really difficult. One suggestion before you throw a load of dice at this tournament is to wait and see how it unfolds, to see if you have enough dice to challenge for a big prize at the end.

Be aware that placing well in a tournament, will likely mean that you are placed in a more difficult group for the next one. Likewise, if you don't score well for a few tournaments, you may find that your next group is a bit easily to rank against.
