Get points by landing on either the any of the corner squares, and work your way through the milestones using the list to work out where you want to try to reach or stop at.

If you've already gone as far as you want to in the current tournament, think about delaying your start of this solo event by a few hours until the next tournament starts at 1PM EST on the 19th Jan.

Winter Express starts at 10AM EST on the 19th January and will finish at 8AM EST time three days later on the 22nd. Look out for the double reward opportunities in the milestones and rewards table below.

Here is the complete list of Monopoly Winter Express milestones and rewards. Where there are two rewards listed for a milestone, you get the second reward if you complete the milestone within the time limited stated by the game, except in the case of the final double reward. So that gives you an extra four star and five star sticker pack to aim for as well as some more dice.

How to Play Monopoly Go Winter Express

This main event is the sometimes annoying corner squares point scoring system. For this event you can only score points by landing on any of the corner square. Each one will give you four points multiplied by the dice multiplier that you used for that throw.

Finding an edge in a corner squares event can be difficult because they are all spread out so evenly, so you can only really target one square for to get points each throw. however you should also consider Railroads, Chance and Shield tiles as tiles that are also good ones to land on. Railroads, because you'll still score in the tournament that is running at the same time. Chance, because you have the chance of getting transported to a Railroad and Shield because you'll get all your dice rolls back (as long as you have full shields).

Not all of the corner squares are equal though, Just Visiting and GO do nothing, by Free Parking can give you some free dice when the Free Parking Dice event is also running (check the daily events schedule), and Go to Jail gives you a chance of free dice if you land on it and throw a double within the three tries that the game gives you.

A lot of players do aim for Go to Jail and try to land there with a high multiplier. Once you land on Go to Jail, the chances of throwing a double are actually quite high at about 42%.
