.Things look to be heating up in the current Monopoly Go Bon Appetit season, so why not cool down with the help of the next partner event on Monopoly Go, Ice Cream Partners. This co-op event started on Tuesday, 9th September at 1 PM ET and lasts for five days. It will end on Sunday 14th September at 4 PM ET.
Discover everything that you can win in this new co-op event with our Ice Cream Partners milestones and rewards list and how to play guide to make sure you are in the best shape possible to take on this exciting new challenge in Monopoly Go. Complete all four partner items and win the final prize of 5,000 free dice, game cash, an ice cream sundae board token, wild sticker or swap pack*.
*The wild sticker or swap pack usually is not selectable, you'll get one or the other.
Below is a list of the rewards that you can win as you progress through the milestones of this event.

* The extra boost rewards can vary depending on your event progress.
80,000 points will complete one Ice Cream build, so if you want to complete all four then you'll need 320,000 points between you and your partners. Each partner can only contribute to one of your builds.

While it's good etiquette to try to aim for 50% or so points in each of your gardens, you may find that some partners do not contribute much, so be careful when selecting your partners.
Also note that it doesn't matter if you contribute zero points or all of them, you and your partner will get the same reward for completing an ice cream. You can't change your partners once you have selected them, so choose carefully.
Simply team up with other players, by clicking on the green plus icon on the game board when the event is active. Then you need to collect as many of the event tokens from the game as you can. Use these tokens to spin the event wheel to get points towards your builds in Ice Cream Partners. That is just a simple quick overview and we go through this in much more detail below.

You can start to add partners as soon as this event actually starts. First of all you need to add at least one partner. To do this tap one of the plus icons on the middle of the game board after the event has started. You will then see a list of people that have requested to add you as a partner and a list of suggested partners from your friends list. If there are any that you believe will be a great partner, add them. Otherwise head back to your friends list leaderboard and scan that for potential partners. Remember the in game names of any you would like to invite then go back to the green plus icon on the game board to sent our your invites.

Adding the right partners is really important, because if they don't pull their weight you may be left with too much to do yourself to complete a build. Partners get the same reward for each build completed, no matter the size of their contribution, and once a partner has been added, they cannot be changed, so do take your time selecting the best partners for yourself.
There are many forums and Discord groups that are really busy with lots of players, but do be wary, as people may not always be presenting themselves honestly. If a Discord has a reputation function, maybe check through the higher reputation players there for some possible partners.
Our friends over at AppGamer, have a great Monopoly Go forum with a lot of dedicated players and would be a great place to start looking for partners. It's never too early to form relationships in Monopoly Go and to try to find prospective partners. Maybe people that I know in the game stay with the same trusted players that they have played partner events with previously.
Points are gained by spinning the event wheel, but to do that you need to collect the event tokens, we explain how to do this further down the page, but once you have at least 20 tokens, you can spin the wheel, here's how.
Start off by tapping the event icon on the right of the screen after the event has begun and then using your tokens by selecting the multiplier you want to use in order to get points for your attraction. The higher the multiplier that you choose, the more tokens you will use, but the potential points you gain per spin will be bigger.

The least risky option is to use a lower multiplier such as x3 (60 tokens) or x5 (100 tokens), or just set it to x1 (20 tokens) for more spin opportunities, but less rewards per spin. Let's look next at how to get the event tokens that you need in order to spin the wheel and get those points to build your attractions.
Personally, I find myself getting better luck with lower multipliers on the event wheel, so my normal choice is a maximum of x3. However, in previous partners events I also note that I usually score better on the first day of the event, so that is the only time I usually break this rule and sometimes use an x5, but I don't normally go higher than that.
Look out for the event token, being available on the game board, in Quick Wins, in the free shop gift, in events and tournaments. There may also be links as we get further along in this event, a few did pop up in some previous partner events, usually towards the end of them.
If you are looking for partner event tokens in tournaments and events, then wait until the new ones come out after the start of Ice Cream Partners as you won't find any in the ones that started running before this event starts. So that being said, the most efficient way to play Ice Cream Partners is actually to start rolling when the first tournament starts after Ice Cream Partners has begun at 2 PM ET on July 10th, that way you'll be able to find partner event tokens in both the main banner event and tournament.
We do hope to see some at some point in this event. If there are any you'll be able to find them on our Free dice links page.
You'll only be able to see this event in your game after it starts, which will be 1 PM ET on September 9th 2025. If you still can't see it after that time, try restarting your device and make sure you have the latest version of the game downloaded.
