.Rebel Racers started on Monopoly Go at 1 PM ET on June 11th and runs until 4 PM ET on June 15th. You will be racing with partners (or alone) to try to claim the top prizes which does include a wild sticker in the team based version of the race.
As before, during the first day of the event, you can decide to team up with other plays or race solo, and begin to collect the tokens you need to power your pod. Then in the three subsequent days are for racing, with one race being held on each day. Win the championship by scoring the most medals from your final position in each race.
There is a lot more to it than that, but we've got you covered with our complete guide to Rebel Racers on this page which tells you have to play this event and how to get more flags which is the event token that you need to help you win.
There are loads of rewards that can be won in Rebel Racers, but the one everyone will be shooting for is the first prize in the championship. This is determined by how many medals your team has won at the end. Medals are given for your teams placing at the end of a race, and there are three races in total in this event. One per day with the final race being for double points.
Here is the rewards table for the championship, there is loads to win, and if you are familiar with racer events, you'll know it'll probably cost you a lot of dice to make it to the top.
Team Championship Rewards

Solo Championship Rewards
There will be a reduced set of rewards similar to the above if you choose to place the event as a solo racer. In previous racer events the solo rewards have not included the wild sticker.
Lap Rewards
There are also more than the rewards above to be won. As you play through races and complete laps, after a certain number of laps your team will unlock milestone rewards where you'll be given a series of rewards to select from which include sticker packs, dice, flags and more.
Lap rewards are given out after lap one, after two more laps, after five more laps, and after ten more laps, with the rewards getting increasingly better as you get further. The rewards continue with another reward after every 10 laps. For each of the lap rewards you'll be given a choice of rewards to pick from, flags are usually there, if you need some more for your team.

The Lucky Rocket system gets a further change in this racer event. Named, Hyper Drive, when this boost is active, your dice will only have the numbers 6, 7 and 8 on it's faces so not only giving you a much higher chance of rolling a double or treble, but also increasing the point scores by just having these three numbers as being rollable.
It's more important than ever to coordinate with your team to utilize effectively this boost if you want make the most of your flags in Rebel Racer.
If you want to know how to make the most of these, then check out this page, Lucky Rocket strategy for our best tips on how to use this valuable boost, thie tips will be the same for this boost, even though it is called Hyper Drive in this event.
Be sure not to waste any Lucky Rockets as using these efficiently can be the difference between winning a losing races. Sometimes they appear in the milestones of banner events too, but it doesn't appear to be the case this time around and you can just win them from some lap milestone reward boxes.
The most important thing to remember about Lucky Rockets is that they don't stack, so ideally all of your team should use theirs before another is unlocked.
A recent addition is also the Overload (also called Ball and chain), this debuff is available in Rebel Racers, and you can claim these from some lap rewards and once you have one you can use it on any other other teams to slow them down. It will cut any roll amounts they score in half until they manage to break it. This is a good way to slow any one team that is making too much progress. Check out our Ball and Chain guide for more details on how to use this important debuff.
Basically you need to team up with three other players, or choose to race solo, collect flags and compete against three other teams with the aim to get the most points and win the race. The event is split into four stages as follows:

In this initial stage you have 25 hours to get into a team. Further down there is a more in/depth explanation of how to build your team in Rebel Racers, but basically it is similar to other partner events where you can send invites and they can be sent to you. The biggest difference is that if someone you want to play with is already a part of a team, then if you want to play with that person, you'll also be playing with their team mates too. The other big difference is that you can leave a team too, but only before the start of the first race. You cannot boot a person from a team though.

You'll also be able to start collecting flags which is the event item that you'll need to score points in this event. More on this below.
At this point you just have to wait for the matchmaking process to complete. Your team will be matched up with other teams of more or less a similar skill level. The game will consider everyone's net worth in the game and will match based on that to try to make it as fair as possible.
Next we reach the race stage. For the remainder of the tournament there is a new race every day. There will be three races in total, one per day, with the most important one being the final race because it will yield double medals, which will be important for you team's final placement in the championship.
It's at this point you can start to use the flags you've collected so far, you'll still be able to collect more flags as the event continues, we explain all the ways to get flags in detail further down the page. To get started in the race stage, hit the event icon, then choose your multiplier and start rolling for event points.
The points you get will drive your car around the course. Complete laps and the race as a team to win rewards which could include; sticker packs, dice, flags, flash boosts or money.
To get started in this part of the event, choose your multiplier then hit the big dice popper. You'll move your car according to the number of dice that you threw, multiplied by the multiplier and also increased if you throw a double or a triple.
The points you get determine how far your car moves, complete laps and you'll get those lap milestone rewards whenever you team car completed 1,2,5 and 10 laps. Your team only has one car so all of your points work together to get through the laps and the race.
At the end of each race your team gets medals depending on your team's classification at the end of each race. Medals go towards your medal points total at the end of the event to decide which team gets which final reward.

Medals are distributed to the teams as follows:
| Race Position | Team Reward |
|---|---|
| 1st | 10 medals |
| 2nd | 8 medals |
| 3rd | 7 medals |
| 4th | 5 medals |
In the final race of a championship, medal rewards are doubled, so do make sure you save a lot of flags for that last race.
After all of the races have been completed, the team with the most medals at the end wins a grand prize, as listed above.
Joining a team or selecting partners is a bit different in Rebel Racers than in previous partner events.
Once the event starts you have a certain period to get yourself into a team before the racing starts. For this event the team building phase is for the first 25 hours of the event. Here is a bullet list of all the steps you need to take to get into a team in Rebel Racers.
Although the actual races start a little later, there is a lot of ground work to be done if you want to help your team land that first prize in the championship. When the event starts, the team building phase, you'll notice flags on the Monopoly Go game board, you've got to collect these, much as you would collect pickaxes in digging events or other special tokens for partner events. You'll also be able to get flags in some events, as explained below.
Here are all the ways how to get more flags in Rebel Racers on Monopoly Go
So while you are building your team, don't forget to collect as many flags as you can to help your team out.
You'll have to be on your toes up until the end of the race, because after seeing how the first race turned out, there was a mad dash to the finish line in our group. So pay attention to the end of race times and save some flags to defend your position or to shoot for that finish line to try to come in first place.
Pressure your opposing teams and don't let them get an easy win so you can deplete their flags so they may not have as many for the next race.
Remember that it is double medal rewards for the final race. So it could still be all to play for in your respective groups. Watch out for teams that hoard their dice until the final hour or minutes of a race then let rip to come to try to come first.

Tap on the green plus icons, just like in other partner events, you'll then be shown the add player page which will contain suggested partners, any invited partners requests you've made or received, and a friend search bar so you can find specific friends to send an invite too.
Yes, but only during the team building phase. You can then go try to find another team before the start of the race, or you will be assigned a random team before the race starts if you don't find a team yourself.
Similar to previous partner events, you have to collect the event token, in this case flags. Then use then in the event. To do this, tap on the event icon on the right of the game board, then select the multiplier on the dice popper and then tap the popper to spin some dice. You'll need a minimum of 20 flags to roll the popper.
You simply win the race by scoring the most points as a team. Your final placing then determines how many medals you receive.
In previous versions of Racer events there have been two or three races. I expect that seeing as this is a four day event, we'll get three races.
The medals convert to points in the championship. The team with the most points from medals at the end of all the races determine which championship reward the team receives.
After a certain number of laps you can receive rewards. There are in the form of reward boxes where you will be given a number of reward choices to select from. Similar to milestones in previous partner events, when you reach a certain number of laps you'll get rewards until the race is completed.
There are a range of different possible rewards such as boosts, dice, cash, flags and sticker packs.
Unused flags are normally converted to game cash.
