Midnight Drive milestones and rewards

Midnight Drive on Monopoly Go starts at 1 PM ET on the 4th April and runs until 4 PM ET on the 6th April, 2025. In this solo banner event you have just two days, three hours to work your way through the 62 milestones to try to collect as many of the rewards as you want, which include up to 18,205 free dice rolls, various sticker packs and 2,630 Flags.

In this solo banner event, gain points by landing on any tax, utility or chance tile. You'll get two points for landing on either the chance or utility tiles, and three points for landing on a tax tile. Those points are then multiplied by the dice multiplier that you used for that throw. The points system for this event makes targeting the section of the board close to the Go square the logical choice as there are two tax tiles and two chance tiles. Remember that as well as points, the chance tiles give you a chance of winning dice or taking you to the next railroad, which will help you win more tournament points too.

There is also the partner event, City Racers running too, and you can win tokens for that event with dice rolls too if you land on any of the flags that are scattered around the board, as well as of course from the milestone rewards in this banner event.

As explained, there are definitely better chances around the game board in some locations as opposed to others, so conserve your dice and pick the best moments to use a high multiplier. We've added more tips and strategy specifically for this type of event towards the end of this guide page.

Also in play are the tournaments, Desert Drift, until 1 PM ET on April 5th, and then from that time, Neon City Circuit.

How to play Midnight Drive

Land on any tax, utility ot chance tile in this event to score points. These tiles are not evenly distributed, so here are our best tips to make the most of your available dice rolls to try to score more efficiently.

  1. It's better to aim for the tax tiles as they are closer to railroads and chance tiles.
  2. The only area I use a high multiplier in this type of event is in the final section of the board after Go to Jail and the as I approach the two tax tiles.
  3. It's better to pick and choose when you want to use a high dice multiplier in this event as opposed to using auto roll.
  4. Chance and utility tiles give two points and tax three points, all multiplied by the dice multiplier that you used for that throw to get your score for that go.

Scoring for these tiles are as follows:

  • Chance - two points
  • Tax - three points
  • Utility - two points

Midnight Drive scoring

As a general rule, I tend to use a low multiplier for most of the board except the final section. Although there are utility tiles to aim for, they are pretty much on their own, and at least if you miss a tax tile, there are generally a couple of good tiles close by that you could land on such as chance or a railroad.

The screenshot above shows the section of the board I am talking about. The green arrows pointing to the tax tiles, the red arrows pointing to the railroads for tournament points, the yellow arrows pointing to the chance tiles, and the blue arrow is pointing to a shield tile which may or may not be there for you and while it does not score points, at least you won't lose your dice as you'll get the number of dice thrown back minus any shields you have missing.
