Smoke on the Mountain

Follow the mission marker until you see train tracks. This Ambush Camp is right along the tracks so get off your Bike from a safe distance and continue on foot to avoid alerting the Camp occupants. Be warned since there are random freakers patrolling the woods as well. You can approach the camp from any side, just don’t forget to mark them with your Binoculars. One good starting point is the derailed train car near the camp since there’s an axe there and crafting materials.

There are no walls around the Camp but they have some sort of perimeter with makeshift early-warning Alarms and bear traps. Use your Survival vision to spot these traps. If you get close enough, you can disable the early-warning traps and bear traps. You can pick up and relocate bear traps if you want as well.

There are only 9 enemies in the Camp and the best way to deal with them is by luring and taking out the perimeter guards first. Once the outer guards have been dealt with, use the trenches and cover to sneak inside and take out isolated enemies. There’s no specific order to deal with the enemies so take them out in any order or method you want. Just remember to loot the bodies as soon as you kill them since you can’t linger in this area for long as several freakers will be attracted by the corpses. After killing the last enemy, the mission will be complete.
