After the cutscene, interact with your gun locker then equip the crossbow. If you have pre-ordered your copy of the game, you’ll have access to the Drifter Crossbow instead. At any rate, you’ll only have a pistol and this Weapon for now since Boozer will be keeping his shotgun.

Loot the case then go down the tower. This observation tower is your safehouse where you can sleep, Refuel, and loot crafting materials. Loot the materials inside the area then once ready, exit through the gate. Turn to the right to find a cedar sapling. Loot it to get its wood. Combine this with scrap to make several bolts for your crossbow.

You can’t take Boozer’s Bike so you have to walk all the way to where you left your bike. Follow the marker and soon you’ll spot a marauder. Tail him while maintaining distance, until he leads you to their Camp. Crouch and sneak to a nearby cover then use your binocular to mark them.

Your next objective is to clear this Camp. There are six Marauders you have to get rid of. Since you don’t have a primary gun yet, you have to sneak in and perform stealth kills. When one of them drops a primary Weapon, pick it up and use it for meantime. There’s a lot of space to move around and sneak on unwary guards. Take them out in any order you want. Once the camp is clear, search around for materials and items, then continue following the mission marker.

When trekking to your Bike, keep an eye to your Radar for any threats. Avoid aggro’ing multiple freakers since you won’t have an effective means of dealing against several of them at once. Use stealth and sneak-kills as much as possible. Depending on the time of day and weather, you may encounter more freakers along the way. Continue following the mission marker until you reach the road where your bike was supposed to be.

After discovering that your Bike is missing, give chase to Copeland’s man. Just keep running and following him until you reach Copeland’s Camp. Head inside to trigger a cutscene.

The Camp’s leader, Copeland, will ask you to walk with him. Do so until your conversation is over. Head back to Manny to trigger a cutscene. You’ll get a basic, run-down Bike as replacement for your original dismantled one. Mission will end afterward.

Getting friendly with other survivors
Copeland’s Camp is the very first camp you’ll be dealing with. While there, trade the Freaker ears, Meat, and plants you’ve collected in exchange for Credits and trust points. You can also check out the other services the stalls the camp offers.
