Days Gone Walkthrough and Guide

Melee Combat

Last Updated:
This skill tree focuses on Deacon’s melee Combat effectiveness. Since high tier skills are unlocked only by learning a certain number of skills per category, consider the recommendation below on what skills to prioritize for this skill category.

1. Field Repairs
2. Escape Artist
3. Hard Hitter
4. Busted Up
5. Lightning Reflexes
6. The Reckoning
7. Home Run
8. Just Roll with It
9. Retribution
10. Executioner

After getting the skills listed above, you can now choose whatever that’s left if you still have skill points to spare.
