For this mission, you have to explore the tunnel. This will also serve as another tutorial about burning Nests, facing freakers, looting vehicles for scrap and ammo, and many more. While exploring the tunnel, make sure to use your Survival Vision often so you can spot the loot you can pick up around you.

Next, turn your flashlight on to help with your exploration. Boozer’s Bike’s headlight will provide much needed light but you need your own while exploring the smaller spaces. Walk ahead and enter the first hallway to the right which will lead you to a couple of crafting materials for a bandage. Use or store it as necessary.

Continue along the tunnel until a cutscene is triggered. You’ll see a mound of dirt, debris, and branches called a Nest where freakers are hibernating. This is tutorial on how to destroy these Nests since you’ll be doing that several times later on. After setting the nest on fire, expect some freakers to be flushed out. After the cutscene, ready your shotgun and shoot any Freaker that come running out.

Collect the ears!
Walk over the bodies of the freakers you killed to pick up their ears. These can be traded as bounties to friendly camps in exchange for Credits and trust points. Corpses with lootable contents will appear as “X” in your Radar/Minimap.

Continue walking along the tunnel, using your Survival vision regularly. Shortly after, you’ll encounter a car that will suddenly blare its alarm, attracting several freakers. Keep your flashlight on since the light will affect the freakers’ vision. Blast them and reload your gun. Once clear, open the hood of the noisy car and loot the scrap to disable the alarm as well.

Continue again and open the police car’s trunk to get some ammo. Enter the service tunnel to the left then turn left again to loot crafting materials. Turn around and proceed to the corridor. A Freaker will jump out of the door from your left. Break free from its grapple and finish it off. Don’t forget to enter the room where it came from to find a bandage and crafting materials.

Guide Image

Continue to the other end of the service tunnel then push the truck out of the way. As you push it all the way back, the rear end of the truck will hit another car, which will trigger its alarm. Ready your Weapon and gun the freakers down. Disable the alarm of the car before continuing.

The last few freakers in this tunnel are waiting past the cargo truck. Gun them down, search the other service tunnels to find some loot. Head to the exit to find another Nest to the right. Get the molotov crafting materials from Boozer’s Bike then craft one from your Weapon wheel.

Guide Image

Throw it at the Nest to set it on fire then kill the flushed out freakers. Loot the remaining items then hop on Boozer’s Bike to leave the tunnel and complete the mission.
