How to Upgrade your Bike

You can upgrade your Bike with the help of Mechanics in encampments. These upgrades range from performance, visuals, and paintjob. Better Parts will become available as you increase the Camp’s Trust level. Credits is required to buy upgrades. Once purchased, the parts and customizations are permanently yours, allowing you to swap them out or remove them as you please.

Which upgrades should I choose first?

For the good part of the game, you’ll have to rely on Manny’s shop in Copeland’s Camp for upgrades. The better Parts you’ll need are locked at Trust Level 2 at least so prioritize doing some jobs and clearing the hostile areas near Copeland’s Camp to increase the Trust Level. The next set of upgrades you can buy will be from the mechanic in Lost Lake (Iron Mike's)

Once you have access to the upgrades, consider getting the following in order:

1. Exhaust - Significantly lowers the Noise generated by the Motorcycle.

2. Tire - Better traction means better control.

3. Gas Tank - Your Motorcycle is an annoying gas guzzler. Larger tank allows you to travel farther before needing to Refuel.

4. Engine - Better engine means higher top speed

5. Nitrous - Reusable add-on to give your Bike a temporary Boost. Quick cooldown between uses.

6. Frame - Improves your Bike’s resistance to damage.
