How to increase your stats?

You can permanently increase your max health, stamina, or focus gauges by using a NERO Injector. These are found inside NERO Mobile Medical Units at NERO Checkpoints or other NERO Research Locations. These units need power to be opened so make sure to cut off the speakers on the roof before powering up the generator outside. Once cleared, you can rest inside, access your locker, and Fast-Travel from and to the Checkpoint.

Additional NERO Injectors can be found inside select caves where swarmer hordes are nested. These massive pack of swarmers roam the nearby area at night then retreat to their Cave to hibernate during the day. That’s why it’s recommended to explore these caves at night while the Horde is out.

So, what stat should I boost first?

Your Survival depends on your mobility. That’s why you should always prioritize upgrading your stamina first, then your health. Focus is the least priority unless you’re heavily relying on your ranged Weapons. Stamina allows you to sprint farther, giving you more time to find high ground, reload your Weapon, or take cover. Health will increase your survivability but that means nothing if enemies easily catch up and gang up on you.
