Deacon

Deacon becomes your companion shortly after completing the Railroad quest "Tradecraft". He's practically overly cautious, up to the point that he's paranoid. He's quite the liar but you'll learn more of his story as you increase his affinity towards you and gain more of his trust. However, due to his loyalty to the Railroad, should the player becomes hostile with the group as part of another faction's questline, he'll be hostile and you'll be forced to kill him, losing him as a companion permanently. Deacon can't be romanced.

Extra skill/ability

• Deacon will usually change his appearance depending on where you send him. He can even wear a disguise from apparel that he doesn't have in his inventory.
• Deacon is the stealthiest companion in the game which is perfect for infiltration and sneak attacks.
• He can be ordered to hack terminals.
