The vault's entrance has a cooking station and three mattresses. Cricket, a travelling trader seems to camp here frequently so you might run into her while exiting the vault.
Examine the vault controls to connect your Pip-boy. The door won't open but you'll be talking to Officer Edwards and then the vault's overseer. She will ask for three fusion cores. Having three fusion cores in your inventory will open up the vault entrance and start a sidequest before you can enter the vault itself.
The items in the vault are owned so be careful not to accidentally steal them. Alexis is the woman who runs the depot and who you can barter with. She sells a unique weapon as well as some valuable ammo and components.
Dr. Penske is the biologist found in her lab in the lower vault. She'll ask you if you'll try her new fruit. If you decline, she'll ask you to bring her any fertilizer you find instead. She'll pay 25 caps for each.
Across the lab is Horatio's salon. Inside, there's a Taboo Tattoos on the table. Horatio can cut your hair for 15 caps. You can also ask him for rumors around the vault.
In the reactor room, you'll find an Old Overseer's Terminal (Master-locked) In the reactor room as well, you'll find the De Luca twins. Tina will warn you about her twin's addiction. Bobby will offer 75 caps for each Jet you provide him. If you decline him, he won't offer buying from you again.
If you find Erin, (Alexis' daughter) talk to her and agree to find her cat to start the sidequest “Here Kitty, Kitty”
Talk to Katy, the vault's teacher and she'll ask you to talk about the Commonwealth in front of her class. Agree to activate the sidequest “Short Stories”
Rachel is Dr. Forsythe's assistant and the vault's resident doctor. She functions as a normal wasteland doctor who can cure your radiation, addiction, or restore your health.
Dr. Forsythe is inside his clinic. As soon as he sees you, he'll ask if he can take a blood sample from you. You can persuade him to pay you or even raise the amount, depending on your Charisma level. If you agree, just sit down and let him take a blood sample.
