This is one of the nearest areas that you can turn into a settlement and is a very productive farmland. The area itself is large and which will allow you to also turn it to a dedicated farming settlement should you establish a supply route to it. The residents are the members of the Abernathy family and will only ally with you after you complete the sidequest "Returning the Favor". There are no notable items in the area.
Blake Abernathy: The father of the family. Talk to him to give you the quest.
Connie: The wife. She also acts as a trader.
Lucy: The remaining daughter. Later on, she can trigger a recurring quest where you can trigger melons for caps.
