A Pillar of the Community

This quest takes place in the Charles View Ampitheater where a cult lead by Brother Thomas is residing. If the player talks to him, he'll attempt to convince the player to join his cult. If the player agrees, he'll be taken in the back room where Brother Thomas will tell him/her to leave his "worldly possessions". If the player questions this, Brother Thomas will reveal himself as a con-man and will threaten the player. The player can resolve this peacefully by passing charisma speech checks; otherwise, the player needs to kill the hostile Brother Thomas and cult members.

If the player kills Brother Thomas, he'll respawn during the quest "Emogene Takes a Lover". When confronted, the player will mention that he/she killed the last guy who was running this scam when intimidating Brother Thomas.
