Vantage points are ancient data cache that will display what a location looked like a millenia ago. There are twelve of them in other, four for each set, which can later be traded to a specialty merchant in Meridian. Like the other collectibles, you can get a map for them but you’ll have to find their exact location. However, since they are specific spots instead of physical items, you can’t detect them via Focus. Fortunately, each vantage has a supply crate beside it so when using your Focus in a vantage’s vicinity, looked for the supply crate instead.
Since you can get the collectible maps at a very affordable price early in the game, it is strongly recommended to get it first since some directions in this section of the guide will be relying on the collectible map markers. Don’t let this fool you however; some vantages will require you to climb steep and perilous heights to reach them.
