Recommended Level: LV20

Two of the trials in this hunting ground will require you to have a ropecaster, preferably at least something that can tie a Trampler down. For this trial, I’m using a Shadow Ropecaster which can tie down the biggest machines out there with a few ropes.

Parts Wrangling Trial

Tie down two tramplers with the Ropecaster and destroy their processors (belly component) while being tied down.

The requirements for this task is pretty straightforward and simple. Equip your ropecaster and find the nearest trampler. Tie down the trampler then while it’s attempting to stand up, aim for its processor on its belly. A full-drawn precision or tearblast arrow should be enough to take it out in one shot. You don’t need to destroy the trampler you tied down so find the next trampler and repeat the process to finish quick enough to earn the Blazing Sun for this trial.

Pace Trial

Loot 3 watcher remains before time runs out

At the start of this trial, there will already be glinthawks flying towards the watcher remains located on top of the stone rises. You basically need to ignore them and concentrate on looting the remains. Don’t hesitate to drop off from the height and endure the damage.

Tie Down Trial

Land 3 Critical Strikes to Glinthawks while tied down

The Carja Ropecaster should be enough to tie down the glinthawks. Basically, you need to completely tie down a glinthawk so you can perform a Critical Strike. You don’t need to necessary need to land Critical Strikes on different glinthawks; you can do this on the same glinthawk. Just be careful of the nearby tramplers since they’ll most likely ram you when you’re engaging the glinthawks.
