Talk to the man named Fernund in his workshop south of Brightmarket’s campfire to start this errand. You’ll then have to find the Relic he’s referring to in the Dusk Mesa, as marked in your map.

Head there and search for the climbing holds on the western side of the inner mesa. Climb until you reach the chest that’s supposedly contain the Relic. Examine the chest and a cutscene will activate.

You have two options: kill the ambushers or escape them. I opted to kill them since they’re easy pickings anyway. Take out the two waves of enemies then travel to Meridian Village to hunt for Fernund.

From the Meridian Village campfire, activate your Focus to locate Fernund directly to the northeast. He’ll run when he see you approaching so chase after him and talk to him. After scaring the ******* off, the errand will be complete.
