Redmaw

This quest becomes immediately available after completing the errand “Deadliest Game”. Head to the marked location near the Spearshaft area and search for Talanah. When you find her, you’ll immediately see that she’s being surrounded by Outlanders. Engage them however you want and kill them all.

After getting rid of the outlanders, talk to Talanah. Next, follow her as she leads you where Ahsis went. Keep following her until she lost their tracks. Activate your Focus and highlight the tracks to continue following the trail. This leads you both to the open area where Redmaw is already engaged by Ahsis.

After the scene, you’ll have to take down Redmaw yourself. If you’re already hunting thunderjaws easily for Trophies, then you should be able to take down Redmaw. It’s a lot stronger, has more HP and possibly higher defense, and more aggressive. Use the Shadow Ropecaster to tie it down then switch to the Tearblaster to remove its disc launcher and head cannons.

Next, tie it down again and attempt to remove the armor plating covering its heat core. You can also use the time to plant tripwires around it to deal damage when it’s stuggling from your ropes. Once done, you can tie it down and use precision arrows on its heat core to deal huge amount of damage.

After the battle, loot the carcass and talk to Talanah. Ahsis seems to be still alive so follow Talanah as she rubs the victory on his dying face. Once done, return to the Hunter’s Lodge and talk to Talanah to complete the quest.
