The Blast Sling basically lobs explosive projectiles in an arc that causes a small splash damage on its impact point. The blast is powerful enough to instantly remove smaller components and armor platings, especially on large machines. While it's technically an incendiary type of ammunition, it's main purpose is to deal damage and not to set the targets on fire.

Blast Bomb

The basic blast sling ammo type. It deals consistent and considerable damage against machines of all sizes. The explosion can also be used to scare away non-aggressive machines such as grazers, striders, etc.

Sticky Bomb

This ammo can stick on any surface, even on enemies without alerting them. The bomb detonates automatically after 5 seconds and deals higher damage compared to the normal blast bomb.

Proximity Bomb

This ammo has the lowest damage of the tree but it can used as traps since they'll only detonate when an enemy walks within their proximity. Unlike tripwires, proximity bombs have a limited time to remain active. If you leave them on the ground for long, they'll expire and won't be usale anymore. If you have the Disarm Traps skill, you can recover proximity bombs that didn't expire or detonate.
