Acquired Taste

This is started by talking to a strange Banuk named Brin, located in an abandoned cottage due east of Sun Furrows hunting ground. (See the map below) This man has a strange taste for machine blood which he claims giving him clairvoyance and visions. He’ll ask you to bring him the “blood” of different types of machines.

Though the quest marker points you to specific machine sites, you can actually gather the blood from the specified machine type regardless if you killed it on a different location. His quest will have the same pattern and steps; get the blood he asked for, bring it to him, he drinks it, he tells you his vision, then sends you off to acquire the blood of another machine. Fortunately, you only need to kill only one of each type of machines he asked for. Here’s the list of blood he’ll require, in order.

Sawtooth Blood

There’s a sawtooth site outside Brin’s cottage

Corruptor Blood

You have to head to the specified location since Corruptors are quite rare. You don’t need to fight a corruptor itself but you only need to loot the blood from its carcass. However, you have to deal with the glinthawks and scrappers already scavenging the remains for parts.

Stalker Blood

If you have access to the Spurflints Hunting Grounds, there’s a stalker near the jump-off area.

Thunderjaw Blood

There are several thunderjaw sites in the middle of the map but if you want to start off from a safe locatiom, there’s one near Lone Light.

Stormbird Blood

One stormbird site is located north of the Great Run hunting grounds.

After delivering the stormbird blood to Brin, he’ll get scared of the vision he just had and will decide to leave. Quest complete.
