What is a Budding Talent?

A character receives more EXP from practical application or instructions if they have Strength with the skill (blue up arrow). As such, some of them will have a hard time developing a skill where they have Weakness with (red down arrow). No one is stopping you from training them on Skills that they’re weak with but expect that to be an uphill climb.

Budding Talent is an unlockable proficiency in a skill that the character is initially weak. These are represented by three stars. They might be weak to that specific skill but with hard work, focus, and consistency you can turn that weakness into a proficiency or strength. This can be done through custom Goals and Manual Instructions.

It will also help deciding how to guide your students by knowing their proficiencies and what advanced or master class you’ll want them to be later on. Kindly refer to our guide’s Classes section to know the requirements for each class so you can steer your students to the classes that you’ll want them to take later on by updating or sticking with their Goals.
