Divine Pulse


This new feature allows Byleth to turn back time and rewind actions taken by both the player and enemies, without having the need to restart the entire battle. Press the ZL button during the player phase to trigger the Divine Pulse.

If a Defeat Condition occurs and the player still has at least one charge available, the game automatically activates Divine Pulse to allow the player to rewind all actions to a specific spot in an attempt to fix that costly mistake and prevent a game over. This automatic Divine Pulse trigger will not activate if there’s no charge remaining.

Byleth starts off with 3 charges but this can be permanently increased by expending Renown on Saint Statues, clearing a certain Paralogue, and clearing story chapters. Byleth can have a maximum of 13 charges in total.
