Added:
Unlocked on: Part 1: White Clouds, (01) Guardian Moon
Available until: 5/24
Recommended Level: 19
Required unit(s): Hilda, Cyril
Rewards (rescue all Goneril soldiers)
* Hexlock Shield

* Large Bullion

Completion Rewards:
* Goneril Valkyries

* Almyra Mercenaries

Post-Battle Rewards:
* Freikugel (Hero’s Relic, allows the bearer of Crest of Goneril to use Apocalyptic Flame. This is Hilda’s axe)

You’ll earn more rewards depending on how many Goneril soldiers you rescue. This is a fairly large Map with lots of bridges, enemies, and a couple of giant birds. There are also ballistas on both sides of the fortress though you won’t be able to use the one to the northwest corner since enemies will be pouring in from there.

Hilda and Cyril are both critical units for this mission. You also need to leave a few units to guard the gate since the Almyrian forces will aggressively push towards and attempt to capture it. Your team will be divided into two groups; Hilda will be in your main team while Cyril will be on the other end of the Map, along with three units.

Guide Image

Before starting the battle, make sure to put one or two of your most powerful units in Cyril’s group and a dedicated healer. It will also help having a Flier or two that can easily cover a large area and provided assistance to the allied soldiers. Assign the flier to Cyril’s group so he/she can save the other isolated Soldier to the north.

Guide Image

The nearest allied Soldier you can assist is located to the south. Take note that these soldiers will not retreat so you have to provide assistance to them by sending units to help defeat enemies around them and provide Healing to them. Healers with Physic is of course recommended. If you have a unit with the Rescue spell, it will be useful in relocating the soldiers as well and forcing enemies to go to your position instead.

Guide Image

Next, have your Flier engage the Wyvern Rider to the northeast since this enemy will attack the isolated allied Soldier. For the other three units of your eastern flank, have them regroup with the two nearby allied soldiers.

Guide Image

Back in the fortress, have your two strongest unit act as a blockade on the bridge to lure the nearby enemies to attacking them. Keep your mages and archers close since the giant bird and enemies to the north will attack from the northwest.

Guide Image

Depending on your individual units strengths, you can leave your dedicated defenders to engage the giant birds and enemies attempting to break through. You can have them use Gambits to break the shields and rattle enemy foot soldiers to prevent them from moving for a turn. Otherwise, you have to concentrate your main forces there until you wipe out the birds and the foot soldiers.

After eliminating most of the enemies, the enemy commander will start to move. You can intercept him while staying near your allies and keeping them safe. Finish off all stragglers to complete the mission.
