Students will earn EXP according to their set skill goals, allowing them to level up faster on the Skills they’re interested in. They’ll have their own goals by default but you can modify these as a Custom Focus. You can access the Goals option from the menu even while exploring.
You can use Custom Focus to have your students work on Skills that will help them unlock the classes you want for them or if you want them to unlock their Budding Talents.
During Lesson day, they might even approach you and suggest their intended goal. If you agreed on the goal that they want to focus on, they’ll gain x1.5 EXP, allowing them to progress faster on that goal.
Same skill goals?
Sometimes, they’ll suggest goals that are the same as their custom or default goal. When that happens, go along with their suggestion to get the EXP boost, as shown below.
