This is a very small Map so expect this battle to end quickly. There are two ways of getting victory: spread out, and finish off the enemy commander or just hold your position and wait for 12 turns to pass. The latter is only an option if your party is very under-leveled; otherwise, the best course of action is to head out and engage the enemies.

There are two drawbridges in this Map which can make it easier and faster to reach Acheron. To operate them, you have to defeat the enemy guarding it, stand beside it, then select the “Bridge” command. Operating bridges will take up the unit’s turn.

Depending on your army’s strength and composition, you can have your stronger units occupy the stairs and any nearby spot to aggro the nearest enemies. Alternatively, if you have a strong Flier unit, you can have him/her fly over the wall and engage the enemies directly. If you still want to be safe, you can leave at least one allied unit to stand over your stronghold to prevent enemies from capturing it immediately.

The enemy units in the northwest and northeast corners can drop a Devil Sword and an Advanced Seal respectively. After taking them out, you can proceed in engaging the remaining enemy units.

Even if you reach Acheron early in the battle and yet still chose to wipe out his minions, he won’t attack or move as long as you stay out of his Attack Range. Finish him off to complete the mission.
