With online connectivity enabled, you’ll be able to find this NPC in the northeast corner of the officers academy. This NPC will allow you to set your preferred unit as a Traveler to be seen and interacted with by other players.
Select which unit you want to send as a traveler and appear on other players’ games. You can still normally use the chosen unit in combat. The unit’s class, abilities, items, and equipment will be included as is. No changes will be applied to them but giving them the best abilities and equipment will most likely convince other players to hire your Traveler as an adjutant.
You can only set one resource or weapon from your Convoy as a local specialty. You’ll earn gold if other players buys the item you’ve set. Unlike Travelers, the item you’ll set as a specialty will be removed from your inventory when you send off your traveler.
This option allows you to set your Traveler to hide in a location where other players should find him/her during a Recon Mission. You can be kind enough to set your Traveler somewhere in the open so players can find him/her easily or give them a challenge by hiding in a mundane or inconvenient location.
After setting up the options above, you can now send your traveler abroad. Make sure that you have properly set this up since you can only recall them starting next week (in-game). As mentioned before, they can still be used in combat even if they’re abroad.
